Lori's 3rd Annual Easter Extravaganza!

Today we had a fun-filled day as we celebrated our risen Lord!
Lots of good food and fellowship with K-Man's side of the family at our house.

It was my 3rd annual Egg and Scavenger Hunt!

Here's the pictorial:

Easter 2014!

Happy Easter, my friends!  I do hope that you are celebrating and worshiping our risen Savior!  If you don't have a church you regularly attend, ask a friend with whom you could go!  And if you live near ME, come to MY church!  What a delight it would be to have you there!!  (Seriously, email me if you want details. loriatjoyunspeakable@yahoo.com)

We dyed Easter eggs last night for the very first time with the adopted crew (well, the little ones...no one else was interested. Whatever!).

One of them asked me where we would insert the candy.  What the what?  They were completely clueless of the boiled (REAL) egg procedure.  So it was fun to see them experience it for the first time!  (But as a mom who's been doing this for 20+ years, I'm just so very tired.  SO tired.)

Here's the pictorial:

And Brenden is home!  But since he doesn't like to be photographed (along with the rest of the Big crew), here is one of the few photos I got of him, in his native state.  Happy to be here, but annoyed that I would dream of taking a pic of him.

And that's about it, my Easters friends!  Enjoy your weekend as you praise and worship our Redeemer!!

Easters!

Happy Easter, friends!

It was a GREAT day here on the homestead.
Lots of fun, and drama.
(Lest, the lack of pictures of certain people.)
(Don't ask.)

Lucy and Isaiah.
And Isaiah's tie.

And my 7th child, Sarah (Nick's girlfriend, who is highly photogenic and adorable.)

And here's a great shot of Nick and me.

 Sarah and her FIVE babies.
(You'll remember that we started with THREE.  Then she asked for two more.  And I said yes.)

The little man.
Oh my goodness gracious, talk about photogenic.

I hope your Easter was fabulous day, too!

JESUS IS ALIVE, friends!

the resurrection changes EVERYTHING!

Our Easter weekend kicked off with me making a bunch of bread slices
to sell at our church coffee bar.
But I don't want to talk about this any further because I
wasn't all that happy with the results of my baking efforts.
But I do think my hair looks good.

Easter egg hunt underway.
Now where are those pesky eggs?

Why I can't find any eggs.
Seriously, what's everyone laughing at?
I have eggs to find, you know.

Lots and lots of egg hunting.

Adorable Macy

Challah Bread.
Isn't it lovely?

My great nephew Brennan, my nephew Patrick, and Isaiah.

Do you all remember about a year ago when I heartbreakingly
Well,
I am happy to tell you that GOD is working such good, despite that horrible tragedy.
He has restored a marriage.
And He has welcomed home a prodigal son.
I weep with JOY at what God is doing.
It is nothing short of amazing.

My first little treasure!

Serious business going on in the dirt.

Macy.
Adorable.

Nick and Patrick.
I love these two so much!

Don't you think K-man's new beard looks so manly?
I love it.
He is the love of my life.
And he adores me beyond words.
And shows it every single day.
I have no idea why.
I know I drive him nutty most of the time!

The family.

Somebody really should help me break loose
from being so camera-shy.

Oh and I need to mention that I did NOT get any good
pics of my amazing brother-in-law, Kenny.
Darn it all!
He is such a fun guy
and made some dang-good baked mac-and-cheese
for our Easter dinner.
Love you, Kenny!

I truly hope your Resurrection Sunday was gloriously blessed.

Because,
the Resurrection changes EVERYTHING.

Jesus loves you more than you will every know.
