I have a yummy new recipe to share with you!
Well, an idea anyway.
I was trying to find a granola bar recipe that would hold up
to being packaged to sell through my bakery business.
AND, I wanted my family to love it.
BUT, I didn't want any corn syrup or bad stuff in it.
SO, I ditched the traditional granola bar concept and put together
this granola cookie bar!
They are super-dee-duper yummy!
All you have to do is,
double your favorite chocolate chip cookie dough recipe
(but leave out the chocolate chips! Or...leave them in, I don't care).
BUT,
**Be sure to use whole grain flour (I used half wheat, half barley).
**Be sure to use real butter and/or coconut oil (I used about half of each).
Then, spread it in a large cookie sheet (be sure to grease it).
After that, just spread about 3-4 cups of your FAVORITE granola on top,
press it in with your fingers so that it all gets nestled in nicely.
Bake at 375 degrees for about 22-25 minutes.
Let it cool, then cut into bars.
It's really good, guys!
And goooood for you.
