1. I don't have a smart phone.
In fact, my cell phone is about three years old,
which is practically an antique these days, so I hear.
But I am fine with that.
2. I've never once seen an episode of Duck Dynasty.
Though I'd really like to!
But we don't get that channel.
**However, we DO get the Food Network, of which I am a JUNKY.
3. I mash my own potatoes.
Always.
4. I am a die-hard stay-at-home-mom.
This economy has really hurt our family budget, in a big way.
But K-Man and I resolved from the very get-go of becoming parents
that I would stay home.
And by the grace of God, I will continue to do so.
He is our Provider!
ALWAYS.
And I pray constantly for new and creative ways to earn/save money.
God honors a frugal and hard-working woman, He does!
5. My dear husband sold one of his power-tools...
and handed me the cash so I could buy the fancy flat-iron that
I've been saving pennies for.
He is ALL-MAN, I tell ya.
But I still haven't pulled the trigger.
6. Real mayonnaise is a very big part of my life.
7. I have what I call my, Y2K/Joseph Emergency Food Storage Corner, in my basement.
You just never know.
More on that later.
8. I am completely against government gun-control.
The reasons are obvious, if you know and understand American/world history.
Period.
9. I am unashamed to be 100% PRO-Life,
ANTI-ABORTION.
Because that's what the Bible teaches me.
There's no twisting that truth.
10. I have no idea who Abby is...or what she is doing downtown.
And lastly, I adore you all greatly!!
I am so busy lately that I don't have a ton of time to blog.
But, I love that you tune-in anyway.
If you have any questions and/or ideas that you think would make a great
blog post, please let me know!
Leave a comment or shoot me an email!
BLESSING TO YOU!

LOL--neither did I until last week when I checked out the first season of Downton Abbey on Netflix. Now yesterday, I ordered a 30 day free trial to Amazon Prime just so I could watch the 2nd season! I'm hooked. AND I have to remember to cancel before 30 days is up :)
Your posts crack me up.

Ok--I kinda gasped when I read what K-Man did for you. You are one lucky girl! :) Downtown Abby...yeah...whatever. Everyone who watches it says they are addicted so I think I will avoid it as long as possible.
As for your beliefs...PREACH IT, girl!
I knew there was a reason I always came back and read your blog. Awesome post in multiple ways!
Amen!! I agree with all your points except the iphone...I have one,but when the contract is up the phone is going on ebay....so much more trouble than its worth!!!A regular old flip phone will be fine thanks~
I'm totally with you on 7 out of 10.
I have seen Duck Dynasty, only when forced to watch it by my family....it is wholesome thought, no cussing, and they pray over dinner---even if it might be scripted--still nice.
Power tool/flat iron--I don't use one.
Mayo is not a huge part of my life, I like it, just don't use it except on sandwiches, which I seldom have.
On the staying home--by the time my nest is empty, I'll have been out of the work force for around 32 years....so even with a degree--no one would hire me---at least that's what I tell my hubby.
Hi Lori!! It's me!! Have you missed me?! I've been MIA from the blog world since my surgeries on both feet in Nov. Life has been crazy busy ever since.....physical therapy twice a week, homeschooling 2 granddaughters while their mom is recovering from her 3rd c-section, my dad passed away in Dec so we travelled to the east coast during Christmas week, and we didn't celebrate Christmas til New Years Day! Anyhoo...I've missed reading your thought-provoking, entertaining posts. So right now as I'm walking on my treadmill I'm reading your blog backwards, beginning with the most recent. Love you girlie!!!
Haha...we have a lot in common..even the phone. Mine is an old antique flip phone, I don't even text! I don't have any food storage though...I consider us lucky if we can make it through the week from one trip to town to another for groceries without the fridge being empty! Nice to "meet" you.
