caramel corn!

Totally made caramel corn last night.

It's ridiculously addictive.

And particularly addictive to a certain someone,
whose name rhymes with goosey.

Here's the recipe,
compliments of Ms. Paula Dean.
(Read that with a southern twang, ya'll.)

1 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup of light corn syrup
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix first four ingredients in a saucepan, boil for five minutes.
Add in the baking soda,
then pour the mixture over 8 qts. of popped corn.
Put on two big cookie sheets & bake in the oven at 200 degrees
for one hour, mixing up the popcorn every 15 minutes.

Let cool and ENJOY!

I LOVE caramel corn!! And I am sayin it with a good ole southern drawl!

This is one recipe that I will be using!! Even if the children's crowns start falling off and the brackets on the braces become loose!

Ahh Ha!! I have a solution!! I won't share it with them!! Brilliant Jean, Brilliant!

Loved your comment on my blog! FYI- we recycle costumes year after year! I guarantee next next year we will have a fairy garden princess, a cowboy, a cat, a butterfly, a pumpkin and so on!

if ya woulda stopped by Kate and I would have invited you in for a glass of wine!
