No, no you have not.

K-Man calls it my Mike Tyson top.
My mom thinks I look like a hippie.
All true!

Plus, it hides muffin tops, a lack of bra, and all-around roly-poly flappiness.

All it takes is a yard of comfy fabric (I got mine at Walmart for about $5!).
And I made it late one night when I couldn't sleep.
I think it took me about 30 minutes.

Look, it's just a big square.  You can do this!

I have been pouring a lot of energy into my latest venture,

cooking classes!

It's SO much fun!

sewing rampage

Yes, it's 2:22 AM and I'm wide awake.
It's been a while since
I've seen this hour of the morning so I guess I was due.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

I'm on a new sewing rampage.

Seriously,
I'm obsessed.

I found a new nook in my living room for not only my
sewing machine, but also my laptop.
It's an amazing combination
and I could sit in my little cozy corner for hours
creating and communicating.
It's ingenious, actually.

I'm whipping out another pair of golf pants for Nick
and this time it's going really fast.

I'm also determined to make all of Lucy's summer dresses.
Which is so fun!

Here is one, although she was in a really
grumpy mood when I took this pic and it shows...

She wouldn't take her jacket off for anything.
I also made the headband.
Kinda cute, huh?

I really must go to bed now.

My blogging habits are dwindling.
I just am so pre-occupied with other things.

Like making odd-colored pants for my son.
And Macy has also jumped on the
bandwagon and has a whole list of dresses she wants me
to make her.

Oh well, I know my mother is.

I got Nick's pants done.
But for some reason, the very confidence that he
has to wear the crazy things out in public,
escapes him to pose for a pic for my blog.

Stinker.

But, he is wearing them today for a golf lesson
so I am determined to get a pic of him,
even if I have to hide in the bushes
to do it.

Can someone please tell me where all those years went??

I ran out of tissue paper to put in his gift bag...
so I knew he would enjoy toilet tissue
instead.

With all that I've got going on,
and ALL that I SHOULD be doing,
I can't seem to pull myself away from
my sewing machine.

I'm just having so much darn fun making
some things for Lucy.

buy online, then download.

So, here is one of my latest creations...
(not to mention the model monster that
was created quite some time ago)

Please forgive the hairdo...I didn't take the
time to make it cute.
It was almost bedtime and I didn't see the point.

Interestingly, I finished this outfit about a week ago
and Miss Runway would have NOTHING to do
with it. Then suddenly last night she wanted to try it
on. Then I got my camera out to take A picture but
it turned into 15. I finally had to tell
her that the photo shoot was over, which didn't
go over well.
Then later, it was time to change into PJ's
and the model 'tude continued with a meltdown.
How dare I make her wear PJ's to bed!
