Reader Appreciation Day! {Let's Celebrate YOU}

And the WINNER is, JANA!!
Shoot me an email, Jana, with your mailing address and I'll get your
cookbook sent to you right away!
Congratulations!
And thank you to EVERYONE who played along, you're the best!

Good morning, my cyber friends!

I am super excited about this day.  Super duper!

Is it because:

It's Hump Daaaaay?  YES.

I get to go on a lunch date with K-Man?  Heck, YES.

I have deemed today to be Lori's Spontaneous Reader Appreciation Day?  Yes, yes, and YES!

So many of you have been following along here at Joy Unspeakable for many years now.  You've stuck with me through all my goofiness, and I appreciate that more than you'll ever know.  Some of you are newbies, and I'm equally as thankful that you're here!

So, to celebrate YOU today, I am giving away a cookbook that I chosen, with YOU in mind.  If you haven't ever watched the show, The Chew, you really should tune in to see if it's a good fit for you.  I just love all the people on there and it's so silly and fun, AND great recipes and ideas!

In light of that, y giveaway cookbook is:

Michael Symon's 5 in 5

He is so darn funny and he's an Iron Chef, so he knows his dinners, let me tell you.

To enter to win in, Lori's Spontaneous Reader Appreciation Day, leave me a comment answering this question:  Do you love to cook?

ALSO:  Though I do hate giveaways that make you jump through ridiculous hoops to enter, I will give you additional entries if you LIKE Joy Unspeakable's FB page, AND if you SHARE.  (Please hop back over here to let me know you did, just to make sure I don't miss it!)

I really do appreciate that you check in with me each day...or even if you stop by just once in a while.  You make this blogging thing super fun!

I'll draw a name on Friday!  (Check back to THIS post for the winner announcement.)

My love to you all!  Now I'm off to get ready for my lunch date.

*I was not given anything for this giveaway.  It's all me, baby.

I do love to cook, when I have time and I don't feel rushed or overwhelmed with the kids' needs. I love to cook more if I have a menu planned and have shopped completely for the week. Once I am done with a nice meal, I feel like I have done something nice for the family.

Like (LOVE) your Facebook page as well and am going to SHARE right now...so PICK ME! PICK ME! PICK ME! Pretty please :)

I love to cook! I started cooking for my elderly parents when I was laid off two years ago and found a passion.

I will say that I love the idea of cooking but i am terrified of the kitchen and of messing something up. And I don't believe 5 in 5 is a reality. Wish it was, would love to try it.

I enjoy baking more than cooking, but there is nothing that feels better to me then preparing a wholesome and hearty meal for my family and for there to be no leftovers cause they loved it that much! Cooking for a family of 9 can be a challenge with all the different likes and dislikes so I think that is why I enjoy baking more....who doesn't like a batch of homemade cookies or brownies right out of the oven? Off to share your blog and post and like your Facebook page! ;)

No, no I don't enjoy cooking, or eating for that matter but that's probably cos my cooking is so awful. LOL
But I'd like to enjoy cooking and I'm trying to. I just bought a crockpot and things are looking up, way up in fact. No one has gagged in 2 weeks. Thats saying a lot around these parts :)
I love reading about cooking and fabulous meals but mine just never quite get that far. But it's all good we laugh about it a lot.

Oh Lori, I love to cook. And, I love your recipes. The caramel corn, lasagna and potpie are our favorites. Although, wait....I have not tried everything on your blog yet...probably everything will be our favorites...better throw away our scale....it will only take away the fun of eating all your delicious meals. I also love baking....love love love baking cupcakes and cookies. In fact, my son's friend told him he was so lucky and that I must not have a job. Oh yes I do...full time outside the home as a Nurse. But after those days at the hospital I love coming home to cook. Hope I win and even if I don't I want to tell you thank you for all the great posts on your blog. You are one funny lady.

I am not crazy about cooking. I would much rather be baking. I have liked your FB page.

I'm always looking for easy, convenient recipes so this book looks like it might fit the bill.

BTW, I have made your Chicken Pot Pie recipe three times already. LOVE IT!!

I like to cook - as long as I know what I am going to cook! I would love to own this cookbook.

I was planning to like you on FB anyway, so am heading over to do that right now. :)

Do I like to cook? HMMM...for me, that is a bit of a tricky question. Because I like to CREATE...but I HATE humdrum cooking. And I REALLY like creating WITH someone, it makes it so much more fun!!!!

I like to cook but seldom have time. I don't like to clean after so that's usually the deterrent to great cooking. One thing I like for sure is reading your entries. :-)

I liked your page on FB and shared on my page as well.

I love to cook ! Lately I'm finding it fun trying new things. Funny how you get to a point in life and cook more for you and your husband and less for your children. It is so much easier this way! Thanks Lori for offering the cookbook.... Cheers to you!

Do I love to cook? Let me count the ways - NOT. No, I don't like to cook, although I've been inspired (sometimes by you) to cook things I see that seem easy and quick. When there's just two of us, it's hardly worth it. However, when I retire shortly, we won't be able to eat out as much so I better get my apron on and start thinking..... Ha!

Patty said...

Bahahaha....do I love to cook. Do I even need to answer that? Um, no. No, I do not love cooking. But I'm trying these days I tell ya.....
