Today was THE best weather day thus far this year.
Though I do love me a big ol' blizzard to mix it up a bit once in a while,
this 80 degree business just does it for me.
But not any hotter, please.
Thank you.
And if you could arrange some palm tress to start growing here in Kansas,
I'll put you in my will.
This week has been the most boring spring break known to mankind.
And I take full responsibility.
I will be accepting the "Boring Mom of the Year" award later this month.
Be watching for that.
And thank you to my kids for nominating me.
But we did go to Walmart today.
And Isaiah wore his cowboy boots and shorts.
I was a little alarmed at first,
then I looked around...and realized all was just fine.
We were downright classy, comparably.
And that's about all that's going on here today.
Macy and Eli made a clean getaway with my mom this morning
and will no doubt have gobs of fun getting out of this blasted house.
Good for them!!!!
Save yourselves, is what I always say.
Have a super duper weekend!!

I am insanely jealous of your 80 degree weather. I'm so over winter--but apparently, it's not done with me. Bleh... And your little cowboy is definitely not going to make the 'people of walmart' website in that cute outfit. :) I remember when my boys used to wear cowboy boots and shorts. Seems like yesterday... (sob)
I thought you were going to say w*lmart was selling cowboy boots and i was all set to run out and get them!! We have one boys pair and they are very popular- even if they don't fit!
Congrats on your award! Hey... at least you got an award!!
And I am also jealous of the weather... here we have flurries and sleet and more flurries and sleet and... well you get the picture...
It was beautiful here too!
I love it, my boys wear their cowboy boots with everything... shorts, PJ's, undies... makes them "real cowboys"that way they say!
Oh my goodness. I should not be drinking tea while reading your posts. I just about had to spit it out due to laughing. You and I may have to share the Boring Mom of the Year trophy. I think I've been nominated as well.
My son, who is now 16 1/2 made shorts and cowboy boots his spring/summer/fall uniform here in the southern part of the state. Ok, I mean when he was 3 and 4. Not now. He also wore huge black sunglasses with the whole get-up. It was great. Now he just rolls his eyes at pictures of that. Lisa
That boy makes me smile :)
