As I sat down to eat this morning,
it occurred to me that my cyber friends have probably been wondering for some time now
what I eat for breakfast.
Yes, I've been reading your diaries.
Well, wonder no longer, my friends.
I am here to teach, indulge, and bore entertain you.
May I never let you down!
Lori's Breakfast:
I know what you're thinking right now:
"Didn't I see this pic on the cover of Gourmet Today magazine?
Clearly Lori has a gift
for plating food beautifully and a unique ability to photograph it
in such a way that captures the eye of the hungry."
Yes, I know.
Publishers are tearing up my voicemail.
It's so annoying.
Let me give you a menu-worthy description of the breakfast
I eat EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Every.Single.Day.
Farm-fresh eggs, fried over hard to perfection.
(No runny yolks, yet no browning either.)
I hate both.
Lori's homemade toasted Ezekiel Bread,
made with freshly milled wheat, rye, spelt, millet,
barley, brown flax seeds, and freshly rolled oats.
Topped with real butter and local honey.
Green Tea.
I have no embellishment for this.
It's Walmart-brand tea.
How embarrassing.
But it does have local honey in it.
And the thing is,
if I am out of town...or out of fresh bread...or whatever may
happen to hinder my breakfast addiction,
I go into a panic.
I'm not even kidding.
PaNiC!
I need this breakfast EVERY DAY.
You're very welcome for yet another time-wasting informative blog post
by Lori.

I think we're twins. I eat eggs and toast every morning, too, and sometimes I'm wild and crazy, making it into a sandwich with a slice of cheese!
I love your blog posts. :D
Only you can make me laugh over a post about eating toast and an egg for breakfast.
Your sarcasm makes me smile, and occasionally raise an eyebrow ;0)
I admit though, my eggs must be the exact same before they make it to my mouth!
