stunts

I stepped out of the house for two minutes today
and came back to find this...

And of course my first thought was that
my little ball of orneriness would try to climb this thing
by himself after the thrill of this stunt.
And sure enough...a little while later, he did.
Try to, that is.
I got onto him pretty good.
Why is it that dads do crazy-fun things with their kids,
only to leave mom to be the bad guy
to put an end to it all?

Then Lucy insisted on her turn...
I'm not so worried about her though.
She's rather cautious.
Crazy and controlling, but cautious.

All the while,
the bigger kiddos were playing a mean game of Uno.

They had fun.
Really, they did.

Not as much fun as being perched atop a baker's rack, but fun.

And that's the extent of my news for you.
Yes, it's that exciting around here.

I hope you all have a fabulous week.

Be blessed, and be a blessing!!

Oh man...my first thought was, "Oh great...he is going to climb that thing the first chance he gets to recreate the thrill." Dads...gotta love their ideas. :)

Well, at least the big kids weren't on top of that rack! At least, not while you were looking! Gotta love those crazy fun dads!

Hello hello!! It's been a while since I commented......Since I retired on June 30, I've hardly had time to be online! Two camping trips, lots of time with grandchildren, some weeding/gardening, etc has kept me super busy. Not having a regular schedule anymore has me even confused about what day it is! Anyhoo.....I just caught up on reading your blog posts since late June and I have to say they were very entertaining, as always!! So I just wanted to check in to let you know that I haven't fallen off the face of the earth.

Hope you have a great week!!
Love to you from Durango!!

This is a quotable: "Why is it that dads do crazy-fun things with their kids, only to leave mom to be the bad guy to put an end to it all?"
