comfortable?

"But God doesn't call us to be comfortable.
He calls us to trust him so completely that we are unafraid to
put ourselves in situations where we will be
in trouble if He doesn't come through."

What are you doing right now that requires faith?

I just finished that book a couple of weeks ago. That was one of my favorite quotes from it.

Reading the book now.

I think I'm gonna have to e-mail you.

Believing it and doing it are two different things. It is harder than people think. Yes, I am uncomfortable, yes I am afraid, and yes I am trying to trust him and not be afraid. It is not my TA- God has that under control . It is my neighbor- honestly I have never witnessed such evil so close to home. It is very frightening.

I know the Lord will win. I am just afraid of what we will have to go through until that happens. I need more of the Spirit, more faith, and tons of prayer.

The book came and I gave to
DH to read while I finish The
Whole In Our Gospel.
Praying the Holy Spirit will speak
to his heart as he reads it.
Because ......
I am so there right now!
He isn't yet!

We are moving our family to a Muslim country. This quote is perfect. "...trust him so completely that we are unafraid..."

Love this quote. It is one of my all time favorites out of his book. I have to tell ya that by being placing yourself in situations where we have to trust our Father, we get doubly blessed!! I just wish more people put their faith in Him and not of this world! Perfect example for us is trusting Him with Gracie's adoption, by listening to His call I firmly believe we are blessed by having PA within 24 hours of submission!!!

Love that book (even though it completely rocked my world!)
We are in the process of adopting our 6th child, our 6 year old son in China. Since we decided to follow that leading from God, seems like every day has required faith. Satan has thrown everything in the book at us to get us off track so trusting Him every minute has been essential!! (especially when I want to have a huge melt down!!!:)
