Yesterday one of my most favorite girls came to visit!
Sarah is seriously the coolest gal,
who is wise beyond her years,
loves Jesus like you wouldn't believe,
and is just so darn cute!!
She is here for a visit from Florida and
came over to our house to get a few highlights/lowlights
and a little trim.
It turned into an all-day extravaganza.
After I did her hair we went
to run errands.....

After I did her hair we went
to run errands.....
including, going to the beauty supply.
Sigh.
I had imagined Brenden and Nick staying in the
car while Lucy, Sarah and I shopped alone
looking at all the fun stuff.
But no....my guys insisted on going in
and as you can imagine,
the *fun* then played out....
Brenden caught in an endearing embrace.
When they team up,
it's time to really start worrying.
it's time to really start worrying.
The last few pics were taken from my cell phone.
They are fuzzy only because I was laughing
so hard & couldn't keep my hand still!

After we escaped the beauty supply alive (oh, and
trust me, Sarah was right in the mix of the
boys' shenanagans...I just somehow didn't
get a pic. Lucy was the only one who behaved),
we went to the DMV.
I INSISTED that they all stay in the car.
When I was finished with my business,
and came outside...
my van was parked on the other side of the parking lot.
Of course it was. I expected nothing less.
Then we went to Hobby Lobby and Brenden
insisted on spending the last $3 to his
name on a slinky.
Back at home...
Brenden showing off his new toy.
Can someone remind me how old this
kid is??

Then it was outside to ride scooters.
Why, of course.
No, Brenden isn't being a good lad
and sweeping up anything...
this was his "rowing" device.

There simply aren't any words
for this.
for this.
We had a super fun day.

Oh I am totally laughing. It seems the apple really doesn't fall far from the tree :)
Things had to be really bad if Lucy was the best behaved!!!
I am with Nancy, I KNOW what it is like taking toddlers into stores. I do NOT know (yet) what taking teens in is like. Oh. NO.
lol Rowing device--- oh so like my firstborn. lol
I would have left them in the beauty supply muttering something about "wish people wuold watch their kids" as I left. lol
MY two boys about a yr ago(so 11 and 8) were hiding inside clothes racks at W/M. They ran out to surprise each other at the same time and one hit the others nose with his forehead. SO, one had a bloody nose and tears streaming down his face, and the other was so embarrassed he did not want to come out of the rack. And add to that a 6, 4 and 3 yr old in the cart! It was CRAZY!!!yes, we left with me dragging one and the other holding his nose.
That is hysterical. I bet there is never a dull moment in your house. Think what your boys may do while your gone for a couple weeks! LOL
Oh my STARS - that photo on the scooter is AWESOME!!!!! I have to print that one out - it is SO funny!!!!
First of all, I am totally cracking up right now. I guess yesterdays errands made up for the previous trip to WM. How do you do it? Your boys are sooooo funny. I love it.
Mandi
Brendan--next to last pic--I give him a 9.2; toes pointed, head up, very nice!
You need to come invade our house, my kids are usually way too serious.
It looks like you had a super fun day! Love that picture of your son on the scooter. So funny!
Brendan gets the prize...OK is the girl his special friend or is she your friend?
You will need to warn Shu-Li about his sense of humor...then again you might have 3 crazy teens!
Okay, you win. I thought shopping with my 6 was rough:-) Seriously though, they have to keep you in stitches, or drive you crazy. I would love to happen upon you guys in a store and just sit back and watch. Hilarious! BTW, loved the fact that they moved your van:-)
i'm with chris... special friend? or someone you hope would one day be his special friend? b/c she is SUPER cute and how you rave about her... i think you may have plans for these two.
oh... and i was just looking at your profile, adn you list 3 kids... when are you going to add Shu-li? I'm pretty positive you already feel like her mother... you love her in a way only a mother can, you pray for her as you do your other 3, you worry just the same....
LOL!!! When you leave teens in the car, you must take the keys with you. :) hee Love the Brenden pic...nicely pointed toes! Snicker...
I would love to spend a day with you! It would be tons of fun!
I can tell that your boys and mine a few years back would have had a blast together! Cuteness galore!!!
Great post...and that girl's hair is just adorable! Wish you could be here and do mine. :)
