I have eaten Miracle Whip my entire adult life. And only recently discovered the pure joy of REAL MAYONNAISE. It's like a whole new world has been opened to me.
The possibilities are endless.
**The only way I can explain this odd and giddy-like mood I'm in is that I just finished a big project that I've been working on and I am so relieved to have it done that it's left me feeling super duper. Oh and I just had the most delicious ham sandwich with mayo. Life is good.
Duke's mayo girlfriend! Lunch today was a garden tomato sandwich w/ Dukes mayonnaise, salt & pepper on (I'm sorry) WHITE BREAD! (You just can't have a tomato sandwich on wheat!)
MAYONNAISE all the way! Its the best, my kids call it Mom's Mayo because Dad likes Miracle Whip...salad dressing on a sandwich?? That is what it is! Oh and if you put mayo in salads instead of Miracle Whip...totally changes the taste for the better!!
My parents bought Miracle Whip my WHOLE GROWING UP and I always thought it was Mayo and told everyone I HATED mayo. When I was in my late teens I accidentally ate a sandwich which I didn't know had mayo on it and LOVED it, of all the things, I LOVE MAYO. I'm kind of embarrassed to admit it, but I do, I really do. In CH they put too much mayo on EVERYTHING and I always scrape it part way off, why....sheer embarrassment for loving it! Dumb right! So my true answer (funny this is the shortest post you have ever had and has the biggest response!) :) MAYO BABY and I HATE MW!
BTW...my word verification is kind of crude, at least it was when I said it outloud in my head...ANSOLE.
Either one--although I usually use mayo on a sandwich if I can get it. On the other hand, if I'm making deviled eggs, then I reach for the Miracle Whip. We always had Miracle Whip when I was growing up--welcome to the midwest! My dad says he still remembers the first time he had a bologna sandwich with Miracle Whip--he was helping someone bale hay, and the wife brought bologna sandwiches with Miracle Whip, not mustard. He much preferred the Miracle Whip! (I understand--not a mustard girl, myself, although I love honey mustard--especially on fries. Of course, the best honey mustards I've had also involve mayo, so maybe that tells us something...)

Mayonnaise. Seriously.
Mayo--try adding it to your mashed potatoes=0
I cannot believe you've never had it before now!!
I'm pretty boring....Fat free miracle whip. I've had miracle whip for as long as I can remember. Maybe I should expand my palate:-)
Mayo - I agree. The ham sandwich sounds good. I'm hungry because we just got back from the pool!
Janet, Kevin, Ted, Philip, and waiting for Eli

Wow--thought provoking stuff :)
For me--neither, really. Just don't like it.
Either, was dedicated Miracle Whip, growing up, but switched...maybe I'm "maturing"
Not just any mayo - it has to be Hellmans Mayonnaise. Grew up with it and still love it! Mmmmm good!
Good post!
I hate mayo and barely tolerate Miracle Whip. Vinegar and oil...mmmmmm.....

Neither....I'm sort of a condiment-phobe.......Although, I'll eat cheese on just about anything.....
But, if it HAS to have a dressing, then it should be Mayo...Dukes preferred.
I grew up on Miracle Whip and the
minute I tasted REAL MAYONNAISE
there was no turning back. : )

Gotta be mayo - but just a smidgen of it goes a LONG way.
mayo for sure! But never on bologna. It is just gross and slimy.
In the south ... Only Duke's Mayo around here. ;o)
Never have had Miracle Whip, but boy would I love to rub some on Bryson's foot right now and whip up a miracle! Do ya think it will work?
BTW Can't stand mayo though either!
I just switched to mayo and wont go back. Lol
