Loved this!! Thanks so much for the link.. and the tissue warning. I needed it!! I've posted a link to it on the NHBO blog, as well :) Have a blessed Sunday!
Thanks for the Sunday afternoon cry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a precious story. My heart continues to swell for adoption as we wait upon the Lord for His direction.
Okay, I am bawling like a baby! Robert is dead set on adopting an even older child than we have in the past while I have been wanting to adopt another child similar to one with Mr.B's needs. But this may have just sent me over to his side!!!
I went on to Gladney's site and there are some sweet kids who need homes!
We just are not quite ready to start until we know more about what B is going to need over the next few months.
I love what the mom said, once they knew about him they couldn't turn their backs. So true!
I'm afraid I didn't take the tissue warning serious enough. I started crying as soon as the dad got choked up and never stopped. I know I said no more babies after my adventures in baby sitting last week. However, I did just spend the last 2 hours researching Ethiopian adoption. Although Miss. Katie is pretty sure her super cute baby sister is in China and she lets everyone know.
Here is another secret... We submitted our home study last week for a 2 year old little boy in foster care. Who knows what will come of it, but we are steadily praying for God's will. He is SO CUTE and the boys have been praying for a baby brother:) They say Katie is "a ball of meanness wrapped in cute"! They don't think they can handle another baby sister!
Oh I saw that too! Isn't that so encouraging and heartwarming?!!!! Can't wait for our own stories to play out...........its almost Tuesday! C'mon LOA!!!!!
That is so cool- I love the Dad - you could tell how much he all ready loved his son! It made me want to adopt a 13 yr old! That is so awesome- soon that will be you with you sweet Shu Li! Blessings, Jean
