Alphabet Intrigue

My little smart girl has taken a sudden interest in learning her letters. Every time she sees words she will point and declare the ones she knows and ask about the ones she doesn't. So when Whe*l of Fortune came on last night, she scooted her little chair up to the TV and gave us all a lesson on the alphabet.

She also LOVES to look at my Oswald Chambers devotional book, "My Utmost for His Highest" (a classic MUST-have for every Christian!!). She will point to the letters over and over, asking and telling. She has a hard time remembering the letter T for some reason...but W she never forgets. This morning she pointed to the T and asked what it was. When I told her she then said, "That's right Mama, good job!" Yes, I have mastered my alphabet, thanks Lucy. I didn't spent all those months in beauty school for nothin'! Ha.

Above we see the scrunched up face that Lucy insists on making for me to photograph. And yes, that's spaghetti on her face that she ate at 6 AM this morning. **sigh** But at least she stayed in her bedroom for the THIRD NIGHT IN A ROW!!!

Someone asked about Lucy's JTM journal....it expired but I plan to renew it soon. Also, Nancy...I can't post Shu Li's picture yet. But I'm hoping to soon!!

HAHAHA LOVE the Wheel of Fortune pictures!

Abby always gets stuck on H, and Laney on W. Isn't it funny what clicks and what doesn't! Just wait...next, she'll want to know the SOUNDS those make! It's big fun!

I had to smile when I read your post this morning. When my first daughter, Molly, was learning her letters her first favorite was the W as well. But she pronounced it "double dew". We still say it that way, but now she corrects us. Good job Lucy!

I think you may have the next Vanna White living in your house.

I ordered the devotional! And I am excited to get it! I have been wanting a new one! Since it is a must have - well them I must have it! Yippee Jesus!!
Lucy is adorable in front of wheel of fortune!
W is the letter that Sarah gets stuck on- she confuses it with V!
Blessings,
Jean

Love your Miss Lucy Joy stories & photos, especially the scrunched face pics!! Thanks for the info about Lucy's JTM journal. I've tried several times to read it but kept getting an "expired" message. Look forward to reading about that journey when it's available again.

Wow! 3 nights in a row...that's awesome!

Seriously, I don't know if there is a cuter girl out there than your little Lucy. That is, until I meet my Sarah. :) Oh, and I called our agency today, and they said it will most likely be at least 2 more months before we do.
