Praying for Abby

I simply can't think of going through anything worse than watching your child endure a deadly sickness. When my own children are whining or complaining about something, I sometimes remind them that we could take a quick car trip to Children's Mercy Hospital & introduce them to some kids with REAL problems. And I often have to remind myself of that as well. It's amazing how seeing someone else's deep pain puts our own little issues into perspective.
