I have another great Christmas book to recommend to you!
The First Christmas Night
by Keith Christopher
The First Christmas Night is a beautiful retelling of the birth of Jesus on that joyous night in Bethlehem so long ago. The poem begins with the arrival of Mary and Joseph in Bethlehem and winds though Christ’s birth, the angels’ appearance to the shepherds, and the visit by the Wise Men. The simple, yet elegant, verses will appeal to little ones and are accompanied by the rich acrylic illustrations of Christine Kornacki.
It's such a lovely poem-like story that will sure to be
a yearly classic in your home for years to come!
It would make a really great gift for anyone with little kiddos in their lives.
(Teachers, Sunday school workers, piano instructors, etc.)
Take a look at Lucy and Isaiah's review.
(Albeit very silly!)
And you guessed it.
I have a copy to give away!
Leave a comment telling me if you have your Christmas tree up yet or not!
I'll draw a name on Tuesday night.

Me first! No - we do not have a Christmas tree up yet! We put it up after Thanksgiving Day! We love to keep the holidays separate and enjoy each one!
The tree will go up after Hubby comes home from China!
Nope, we don't have a tree up, either. We're going to go cut one down the day after Thanksgiving. :) Looks like a lovely book!
My hubby and I get up early on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving to find our Christmas tree. We spend the day together working on the tree and decorations. This fall has been crazy with one little challange after another and we both are super excited about taking the time to continue our tradition! Only one more day! The book looks great...every year I give my niece and nephew a book on Jesus' birth. Definately need to check this one out!

Yes we have our tree up and all the other things up too. We also have our things up outdoors and all the blowups on the lots next door to us we put up for everyone to enjoy. We did it early so the kids and all could enjoy them.
We have ours up. It was a fun family project this past weekend.

No tree yet. We put ours up the Saturday after Thanksgiving and I am usually taking it down by New Year's. I love it up during December, but then I am ready for normal again. ;) I always love a book giveaway!
No tree yet. This book sounds great!
Happy Thanksgiving, friend!

We always put up our tree after Thanksgiving. It will be interesting this year with an 11 month old around! We love books!
Our tree isn't up yet. It usually goes up a day or two after Thanksgiving. A soapbox which I've climbed more than once (and did again this morning! Haha!) is how so many people don't know the historical and spiritual significance behind Thanksgiving and think it's just about turkey and football games and Black Friday. Thanksgiving needs to be properly celebrated and then it's time for CHRISTmas. =)
No tree yet. We always put it up the day after Thanksgiving but this year it looks like we have to wait until Saturday!
Our tree is not up yet. It will go up the weekend after Thanksgiving.
I think my son would love this book!
Oh! I wanted to get a tree this weekend so my daughters would decorate while in town, but no go. I couldn't find one! Now I'll have to do it myself! I neeeeed this book for my "Grandma's Library" :-)
ME! ME!! No, of course we don't have our tree up yet. I am a hardcore Thanksgiving lover. No Christmas music, no decorations, no baby Jesus anywhere (except in our hearts....) YET. :)
