toasted cheddar jalapeno bread {so easy}

 Do you want a super quick and easy snack or side for dinner?
You've come to the right place.
Hooray!

Oh, and let me apologize in advance for losing focus on all-things-healthy in this recipe.
I made this on a Friday night and just went wild.


Toasted Cheddar Jalapeno Bread

Now we're talkin'!


Dice up some jalapenos fairly fine.
The amount truly just depends on how many pieces of bread you're doing,
and how hotttttt you want it.





Slice up a store-bought loaf of French bread.
Or make homemade bread.
But that would changed the whole easy part of this "recipe."
But you know me, do what you want!
(And homemade would be better for you anyway.)
Go ahead and make your own bread.  I'll be so proud of you if you do.
I'll wait here.




Slather on some butter.
REAL butter.
I said BUTTER.
Stay far far away from the plastic spreads in plastic tubs.
Sprinkle on some kosher salt and granulated garlic.
(Or perhaps minced garlic...which would make it all the yummier, I'm sure.)
Again, our goal here is EASY and DELICIOUS.




Top that with cheddar-jack cheese and your jalapenos.




Then stick them suckers under the broiler and watch it like a hawk.
Once the cheese is bubbly, you're all set!



Eat 'em up right away.
And you'll be happy for the rest of your life.
