laundry quandary

My 10 observations about not having a washing machine:

1.  I feel like the world has been lifted from my shoulders,
now that I am not doing laundry anymore!
It has freed up approximately 4.5 hours each day for me.
And I couldn't be more grateful.

2.  I have never been more stressed out.
The mountain of laundry that is piling up is killing me slowly.
It is as if some cruel joke is being played on me.
Is there a candid camera hidden somewhere?

3.  The paradox created by #1 and #2 has me laughing and crying.
Mostly crying.
Yet, I still feel so very free.

It's a quandary that I will never understand.

4.  My new washing machine is coming tomorrow morning.

5.  BUT...until K-Man hooks it all up tomorrow NIGHT,
it will just be another unused shiny appliance,
all day tomorrow.

6.  My decision to paint around my laundry machines is haunting me now.

7.  I quite frankly don't really care about #6.
I am who I am.

8.  The people in my house are starting to complain about their lack of clothing.

9.  Laundry will be my middle name, come Thursday morning.

10.  Truth be told, I am plotting to run away, just as soon as everyone goes to bed tonight.

Carry on.

Take the towels and jeans to the laundry mat tommorrow AM as they will each probably be two loads by that time...then start the new washer as soon as K-man has it hooked up...before he leaves for work in the AM for sure...ya know, JIC he doesn't hook something up right.

I say run to Target for a pack of underwear for everyone in the family. Beyond that, it will get done when it gets done. I try to throw in a load every time we have a meal, but if we get backed up, things get ugly. (7 kids at home right now)

I say run to Stabucks and continue to ignore the whole thing. Then...when the machine comes, Keep Calm and Laundry On.
I'm so helpful.
You're welcome.

What are you getting?? We are needing a new one too and I am so confused by all the machines out there! I just want one that will wash my clothes normally! Ours now is only four years old and we have had problems since day one!

It is times like these that I want to start weeding through the clothes and throwing them out! Seriously, I think my kids would do well with 3 or 4 outfits total :)
And you know if we lived a tad closer I would spend all day helping you catch up!

I hate laundry. One of my least favorite chores.

You can run away to my house. Wait, then I would make you help me with my laundry.

Never mind.

Since you are stuck, and just need to...carry on, here is some music from my son's favorite band.

( I am slightly embarrassed to say, my 5 & ^ year old sing right along. :P )
