Looky what Lori got!
An oat roller.
Or as K-man calls it,
a holy oat roller.
Just a little Pentecostal joke for ya.
Oat groats.
Rolled into...well, rolled oats.
Although here it looks like flour.
But I had to adjust my settings a bit.
And I forgot to take a picture of the final product.
It's all very 1800s Proverbs 31ish of me, isn't it?
Yet, I rarely shred my own cheese.
My ways are forever mysterious.

Cool machine.
You know, funny you should mention it, I was already thinking of Proverbs 31 with all of the things you are doing in the kitchen these days. Really I was. :-)
Awesome. I'm still planning on one day getting a mill to make flour...but I am very, very slow in actually doing anything I plan to do. So, I just live vicariously through you. How's that?
um...will you be my mentor in all things Proverbs 31-ish?
Ya know I sew many of the girls dresses, and cook a homecooked dinner every night. But when it comes to oatmeal, I am not a morning person....I do good to get it out of the Quaker man packet and into the bowl with the microwaved water.
Ooo, fun! I just discovered the joy of steel cut oats. Those are my new favorites.
