an amazing afternoon {hot-pot and friends}

One of the many things that amazes me about adoption is,
the incredible people that have come into my life
as a result.

Not only has adoption brought wonderful children
into our family,
but I have become dear friends with special people
that I never would have met otherwise.

I love how God orchestrates that.

Love it.

Among those people, are some particularly special individuals.

God brought into our lives some
truly amazing Christian Chinese friends...
and they came for hot-pot yesterday.
They brought all the food.
And did all the work.
They are wonderful.

It was delicious.
It was grace-filled.
It was so fun.
It was an encouragement to my heart.

I simply cannot put into words how wonderful these
young people are.

Have I mentioned how wonderful they are?

We had an absolute blast.

Take a look...

We wore them out, literally.

And we can't wait to do it all over again soon!

What fun pics!! How did Eli do in the mix? I would think that the fellowship and food would bring fun and comfort to Macy and Eli since they left China at an older age.
