please pray...

Hi guys.

I would sure appreciate your prayers right now.
Little Isaiah still has a fever,
itching, and just not himself
(not that we quite know what that is yet).
But my heart is so sad because I'm not there.

K-man is taking him to the doctor in less than an hour when
the clinic opens up.

Also...I am just about the pull the trigger on
booking a flight for Brenden to go
over to help him next week.
It's a tough decision because of money,
but we are thinking the benefits outweigh the cost.
Please pray that we make
a wise decision, that God would provide,
and that we get B's visa in time.

God is sovereign and in full control.

I'm so thankful for that.

Praying for all of you, Lori! Kelly is probably in the best place to have this happen with the clinic right there. Isaiah will be ok, but I know it's hard for momma to not be there right now. Praying for discernment on Brenden traveling, too!! HUGS!!

I agree with Anita, Isaiah is in a good spot and he will be fine. I do think it would be helpful if you can manage Brenden to get over there and help. It would be a great experience for all of them and would take some of the worry off of you. Then again you could leave B in charge at home and you could go!!!!!

In my prayers!

Praying, Yes definitely visit the Dr at the WS...his advice and meds worked well for us. He advised using what we brought and added some of his own (ear infection and mouth ulcers for her)

God give you wisdom in deciding to send B or not

Glad to see the update. I have to say I took some Chinese herbs for a stomach *issue* as the US meds were NOT working. Those herbs worked so well, I bought an extra box to bring home. ;)

As for sending B, I would have to say go for it if he is willing. I can tell you our older son, adopted last summer at 10, WAS ABSOLUTELY NO HELP. He was the one keeping us on our toes. He bolted from us repeatedly and screaming at us in public. I have no idea what he was saying, but I'm certain it wasn't good. ;)

I know many older adoptees do great, but our son tested us to the max. DH had to chase him down the street to catch him more than once. I can't imagine how he could have done that and taken care of little DS, 5, at the same time by himself.

We basically didn't get out much. Now when DS, 11, asks why we didn't do more touring, we say quite bluntly, "Because you ran away and wouldn't walk within ten feet of us."

He says, "Oh. Yeah. I did. Me sorry. I love you Mommy, Daddy!"

:)))) Send B if you can! If DH doesn't need his help, I'm sure the companionship will be great too and the memories made b/t brothers will be priceless too!

Poor little sweetie. At least you know this will be the last time he has to be sick without a mommy AND a daddy.

I'll be sending bucketloads of good thoughts your way.

Praying for the whole up in the air situation. And so thankful that as I read your blog to catch up there was already an update with hopeful news for your little guy. He'll be home before you know it and never ever will he need to be feeling run down without his Mama. :) So thankful for that update!
