note to self

Perhaps when your children are old enough to leave
you notes on how they want their laundry
done,
it's time to teach them to do it themselves.

TOO funny! A few years ago I went to spend the weekend with my mom for Mother's Day. I received my present when I got home... My husband had taught our sons how to do laundry!! Might be my best Mother's Day present ever!! LOL!!

You are so right!!
I occasionally get special instructions on how not to dry their favorite t-shirt, too. It's always a t- shirt never their Sunday clothes that they really care about!

I think laundry lessons are in order here, too!!

Hehe. I often have early morning notes on my computer that go something like..."Mom, I love you soooo much. I need my basketball uniform today."

Love it!!! Yep, I'd say it's time he's introduced to the wonderful world of laundry :)

I started early. I sort the piles, then my 8 year olds know how to add the detergent, load the washer & turn it on. They can get it out of the washer & put it in the dryer but I have to rescue it after that. They don't know what can be dried all the way, what needs hung up & the only thing they can fold is towels. :-)
