easy to ignore?

"...orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names.
They are easier to ignore before you see their faces.
It is easier to pretend they're not real before you hold them
in your arms.
But once you do, everything changes."

I underlined that one too!!!! I am going to post that on my blog too....sorry!!! But I love it and is answers simply when people say "Are you nutz?"

Everything does change once you see a face without a family!!

I am reading his book now and enjoying it so much. I really enjoyed visiting his church too. There were huge pictures of poverty, homeless, orphans hanging all over the church with statistics. The stage was a recreation of the slums of India. You could just tell that they were very mission minded. You need to visit your family in Decatur and we can all go visit his church together:)

*EXACTLY!* That's why we could no longer ignore our boys.....faces, names, kids....only asking for a mom and a dad. We knew too much, we knew too personally. We HAVE to get our boys HOME!!!
