Yesterday my mom came out for
"orientation" on how things are done here on the 'stead.

I'm sure it was completely unnecessary because
she has raised more children than I have, after all.

But....
I just thought she might want to get acquainted with
things before she is in over her head.
Oh, she's in over her head already and there's no turning back now

For whatever reason,
she seems excited...looking forward to it, in fact.

Go figure.

kind of revving herself up for the big adventure, I guess.

(Or perhaps she's marketing my home to make some extra
cash while we're gone...

she's very entrepreneurial.)
