A New Normal

I can't express how blown away I am by the amount of support we are receiving for the Saunders family. People ALL OVER THE WORLD are praying, checking for updates and sending donations. It is incredible and believe me, this very deserving family appreciates it. I am trying to respond to each of your emails but there are a lot!! If I somehow miss one, please feel free to send it again.

Also, I see that the ChipIn is finally clicking away. I have no idea if the amount is correct (I suspect the total is much higher than that) but from what I have heard, it won't necessarily be accurate (stupid thing!) BUT, the transfer of funds through it IS RELIABLE!! So, keep giving. If I can get an accurate total, I will post it.

I haven't received any updates except that they are still feeling completely overwhelmed & exhausted. Please don't stop praying. As reality continues to sink in, their grieving will deepen at times. It will no doubt take a long time to deal with this loss.

I also want to say that if you haven't visited the blog we have set up for the Saunders, please visit it (click HERE). Between Lynsay (who is in Ch*na) and me contributing to it, we pretty much have a 24 hour window in which to keep you updated. I will continue to post updates here but I will also be resuming my usual posts regarding my own family goings-on.

I think this is an amazing thing you're doing for someone you just met. It really shows what a good-hearted person you are!!

Thank you for being such a faithful servant. God is indeed moving through His people. And the Saunders family is so very blessed to call you a friend.

You are such a blessing to Dw & Linn! It was great to "meet" you via phone & email, even though the circumstances were not great. Thanks for all your tireless efforts in helping them.
