Naked in Wal Mart

What in the world is wrong with me?? What has led me to the point where I feel completely ok which whipping out my camera, which isn't small, btw (a Canon Rebel, I think Holly asked a while back), and taking pictures of my family in WM as if we are at some amusement park? And an even better question, why does my family let me do this?? Have they finally become so numb to my oddity that they feel no sense of urgency to stop my obscure behavior? Well, all I can say is that I need to at least make them pose next time...do a little aisle action...deli dancin' (oh, you will be so happy to know that they were sufficiently staffed this time. One pound of ham and one pound of roast beef, thinnly sliced). And what is it with one of my blogger friends, who apparently has lost all sense of reality also, whom I won't name (her name starts with an L and ends with an inn), sending me a text message telling me she heard we were going to WM and is trying to get her daughter to tell my son to run through the store naked so I can have a great blog post, but her daughter (way more innocent than her mother, obviously) won't do it out of embarassment!!?? What have we homemaker/desperate bloggers come to??!! It's a shame isn't it? But it is what it is. It's some kind of sicknes I'll just have to learn to live with I reckon'.

And on that very sobbering note, here is this week's (for me at least, MUCH NEEDED) Bible verse....

“Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.” 1 Timothy 4:15

** Since first writing this post at 12:30 AM, I still haven't slept a wink and it's almost 2:30 AM. I'm bored out of my mind, wide awake, and full of energy. I have consumed countless handfuls of cheese crackers, as many blueberries (apparently my body is craving brain food...go figure), and tried to get into a new package of Oreos but couldn't get the dog-gone thing open so I gave up fearing it would finally give-way & hurl cookies all over my kitchen. I'm trying not to turn on any lights so not to wake up my family, though the glow of the refrigerator being open as I starred at its contents hoping that a fabulous casserole would appear, probably didn't help. I'm thinking about starting some sort of blog for "sleepless women only"...you know, kind of a place to hang out in the wee hours of the morning when you can't sleep. Perhaps sharing ideas on off the wall things, exchange recipes...no, bad idea...that just creates more hunger. I just saw a steak house ad online and now I'm wondering how I could quickly thaw a t-bone and side it with a delicious twice-baked potato.
Now I'm beginning to wonder if I can just stay awake until it's finally time to turn my coffee maker on. No, if history is repeated I will fall into deep slumber about one hour before my alarm is set to go off. And if I sleep in my poor Brenden won't get his breakfast made special for him by his Mama.
Ok, if I'm not careful, I will continue to ramble on and on and this will the longest unread post ever. I think I will go back for another dip into the blueberries since they are just so yummy. And if I figure out the t-bone thing, I will share that with you for your future reference.

I have, on occasion, written middle of the night posts. (I realize I haven't posted recently, I'm praying for some inspiration) WHat I realized is that I shouldn't post in the middle of the night, because I ramble and ramble....and because of the time difference, when I wake up and edit it is already too late because 20 people have already stopped by to read my nonsensical middle of the night rambling.

Not that I would EVER call what you wrote nonsensical middle of the night rambling!

Get to bed sister!

Now I know why you emailed me a 2:00 a.m. Loved your WM pix, and I was wondering the same thing...you whip out your camera in the middle of WM? Love your ramblings...uh middle of the night blogs...and love the verse for this week.

So what is up with E not being willing to text that for me? HUH? Chicken!

YOUR son texted her and said, "Never noticed how drafty WM is.." She turned to me and said, "What's that mean?" I told her and then we both laughed our heads off...

Miss you...xo

Very interesting, Lori, (and yes, pretty funny that you were taking pictures in Wal Mart. Hey, they probably love it that you are giving them free advertising!). Anyway, I now remember that I did ask you what kind of camera you had, because you took those awesome b-ball shots. Well, I'm not sure if you gave the answer before now, but if you did, I didn't remember at all (so I'm guessing you didn't because I always remember everything you say, of course!) Anyway, we just got a new camera, and a canon rebel is exactly what we bought! Cool! Now I will be set when my boys start playing basketball. : )

Hahaha! Lori, I love you. This post made me laugh so hard. lol, the thought of Emma texting something like that struck my funny bone. I can't imagine! lol, leave it to you to bring a camera to Wal Mart. Sounds like something I would do... And I like it when you ramble. It's much more interesting than when I ramble--um. Like I am now. ;)
