Life's Two Choices

Today I am off to have a garage sale with my mom and sisters. I will be bringing my camera along because it will no doubt give me enough blogging material for weeks to come. I'm donating my proceeds to Lynsay's ministry (Yippee! They are getting their first baby to care for!!!) in Ch*na so please pray that we have very generous buyers...on a very cold November day. Why we chose to do this now is still uncertain to me but as I recall, it was my idea. Oh well! The hilarity that will result will most certainly keep us warm.

So for now, I leave you with this...............

Life boils down to two choices.............

Get a dog..............

Or have children..............

I have both! And what a fun party it is!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, the little guy above reminds me of my Brenden who just the other night was in the basement with a group of his buddies...I overheard them deep in conversation and then he ran upstairs to grab a Bible...then back down...then back up for my Bible (it's a study Bible with notes)...then back down. I asked him as they were heading out the door to go to church what the big discussion was & he said they were finding scripture on why abortion is wrong and how deeply God values life. Oh be still my heart. I'm crying as I am typing this. Nothing fills my heart with gladness like my kids seeking God.

Okay, that's alot of stuff to comment on...the yard sale - you're a wacko to do it now; I will pray that God will bless the "stuff" and you will have some good $$ to send to them (they so totally rock and I am so thrilled that they are about to get their first); LOve the pictures and we have had some of those days with kids - too fun; and B and friends - way to go guys! Keep digging in and also reminds me to not only hide His word in our hearts and in our rafters - just in case. =/ Not even kidding either...

Yard sale...yikes. I just had my first AND LAST this past weekend. Guess I'm just not cut out for them. (Although our temps were in the 80's, as I never would have survived the day if it were cold). Hope you bring in some big bucks for an awesome family.
Your note about B warms my heart too. There is nothing like when you hear your children speak about what's right according to God's word.
Have a wonderful day. Keep the teapot full & stay warm!
