show hope tees

Hey, thanks to all of you who have ordered
shirts.

I'm so grateful!

And to answer a couple often-asked questions,

the shirts are adult sizes only
and
run pretty true-to-size.

They are not exactly fitted (tight) but for sure not big and boxy either.
Nicely in between.

*~*~*~*~*~*

And if you are paying attention,
yes, it is in fact almost 3 AM as I post this.

Lucy woke up.
Got in bed with us.
Went back to sleep.
But I didn't.
So here I am.

Your deepest sympathy is greatly appreciated.
Especially around 2:00 this afternoon
when I'm downing my 32nd cup of coffee.

But right now I'm desperately fighting the urge to want to run
my vacuum sweeper to make use of this idle time.

But I'll refrain.

dashing {show hope style}

I'm gonna shoot it to you straight.

We've got 37 Show HOPE t-shirts left to sell.

We really need to move these bad boys out of here!

So here is an inventory of what's left:

Small: 6
Medium: 10

Large: 16

Extra Large: 5

If you've already bought one, perhaps you would be so kind
as to leave a comment raving about how wonderful
it is!

And if you haven't...

maybe you are in the mood for Christmas shopping.
I'll bet there is someone on your list
who would love, love, love one.

Or maybe you need to treat yourself to one.
Really, you deserve it.

They are really great quality and fit wonderfully.
They maintain their size & shape after
many washings.

And best of all,
it helps our adoption AND the wonderful ministry of
Show HOPE!

So, please.

Buy one....or 37.

Would you?

I can pretty much guarantee that you and yours will look
every bit as dashing as we do.

Got Your Verse on Yet??

Seriously now. If you haven't ordered one of these fabulous tee-shirts for yourself yet, whatcha waitin' for?? I have this one that I'm pictured in (you have no idea how many pics were taken before I finally gave up and realized that I'm just not photogenic). I also have one pre-ordered. I seriously plan to own each and everyone of them. So, chop chop! Order yours today!!
I had a wonderful visit with my good friends yesterday. I had told Lucy that one of them had a baby so that made her super excited to go have coffee with Mama & her friends. What I failed to remember was that....kids grow. The last time I saw my friend Carrie and her little guy, he was quite...little. So when she walked in and he wasn't in a little baby carrier as I fully expected (I'm such a ding bat...but you know that by now), I was quickly explaining to Lucy that this little boy....who was almost her size (he's a big 2 year old), was the baby I was talking about. *sigh* And he even knew his alphabet (and could recognize each and every letter). So he was not only huge but smart too. Thank goodness he still had a pacifier because that gave Lucy the illusion that he was still a baby.

Lucy has been up since about 4:00 AM. I finally let her get into our bed around 4:45, then after dealing with Miss Wiggle Worm I gave in and we got up to start out day. She is WIDE. AWAKE. And I. AM. NOT. I'm downin' my coffee as quick as I can but not fast enough to make me the least bit thrilled to be helping with her eagerness to discuss the alphabet. After convincing her that it was still night time (sort of), showing her that IT IS STILL DARK OUTSIDE, she is on the couch watching Barney. *deep sigh*

Today is the last day of spring break & I'm super, super sad. Sure we have the weekend still ahead of us but that doesn't count. Next week it's back to the grind. But quite frankly, I need the rest.

Lemons and T-Shirts

Two posts in one day?? I'm on quite a roll of neglecting my housework now. I just uploaded my latest pics onto my computer and simply had to share a few.

First is Lucy (of course). She learned about the fruits of the Spirit in church on Sunday and to demonstrate, they showed the kiddos a variety of fresh fruits. At the end of class they each got to choose a fruit. What did Miss Lu Jo pick? A lemon of course! And then she insisted on eating it....sort of....well, just see for yourself.......

Next is my newest and most favorite T-shirt that I bought to help raise money for adoptions!! Isn't it great? Go HERE to order one for yourself!!

I am deeply sorry folks for the cheesy smile...what in the world makes me think that the camera and I are such good friends???
