It has been so blasted hot here in the last couple weeks, until the other day!
A fall chill actually came upon us.
Perfectly warmish temps during the day, perfectly cozy cold-ish at night.
Now really, let's stop right here because THIS is my perfect weather.
And my chickens think so, too.
The heat really stresses them out, man!
But THIS, this is perfect for them.
We are all living in a ridiculous harmonious state right now.
Goodbye, summer.

I absolutely adore fall! Yesterday the cooler weather moved in here too... Oh I can't wait for more beautiful fall days! Mornings on the front porch studying the Word and soups and home made bread... Yummy!
Glad you are enjoying the beautiful weather too. One of these days I am going to make it back to your neck of the woods and actually see you, seems like it has been forever since we were home!
We're still swimming; water is 86 degrees. It is a bit cooler and breazier though. Today we worked at our daughter's house, with big shady trees all around. We opened doors and windows and did not run the air.
Spring is my favorite. When you can feel the burn of the sun, but aren't sweating buckets=)
I lobve fall too BUT I don't like what comes after it...
