This may or may not surprise you,
but the chicken quinao burgers that I had dreamed up in my brain
all day today, were not nearly as delicious in reality.
NOT NEARLY.
Shocking, right?
But the good news is,
the cholesterol level, blood pressure, and regularity of my family
is right on-target, having eaten them.
Lesson learned:
When it comes to burgers...
Beef, it's what's for dinner.
(No substitutes, please.)

I tried quinoa loaf once in lieu of meatloaf. I don't think I need to say how THAT went over with the family!
Thanks for the warning. :) Sorry it didn't turn out as well as you had hoped. But you have tons of recipe ideas that DO turn out--so I still have faith it you. :)
yeah, mine don't even like turkey burgers...stubborn bunch
