the uppercase "A"

We started on school this morning!

Here is an example of what I'm in for
with a certain little man:

I do covet your prayers.

And feel free to stop by to kidnap me
at any given time.
I will be waiting for you at the end of my driveway.
Please hurry.

Love,
The "Patient" Schoolmarm

I am almost peeing my pants and certainly crying from the laughter. That is the funniest thing I've ever seen! Bless your sweet marmie heart!

We can run away together...I start the kids Aug 22. And I have a feeling a certain someone will be joining in our homeschooling since he has yet to learn the fine art of sharing or getting along well with others....sigh~ I will be waiting on the roof, waving a bright red flag!!

Olivia and I laughed until we cried when we saw this! Kind of ironic since she IS Chris Farley!
PLEASE, I BEG you to stop by and get me when the kidnapper or aliens stop by. I'm not picky! I tried last year to get away before school starts and again this year to no avail. If I stop and think about it long enough I get kind of wierded out. Twitch Twitch...
One suggestion for your bouncy boy..draw giant letters on the driveway or masking tape them on the carpet and let him walk the outline or run his cars on them or Have him jump from letter to letter as you call them out in random order! I'm here to tell you that I read some of Olivia's history lessons to her while she does gymnastics (or hair) and she retains a whole lot more of the info. She reads her language arts lessons etc but if it involves facts and dates she does much better listening while "doing" something!
Can I reiterate?.. Don't forget me when the aliens or santa or whoever picks you up :-) Sheri

Oh.my.
THIS IS MY LIFE!!! Have you been watching in my windows?
Luckily, we don't start back up 'til after Labor Day! I'm still enjoying lazy days by the pool. But I'll pray for you while I work on my tan....

I have never seen the movie the clip is from, but now I want too. I laughed so hard watching it. I have a very similar child. I love him dearly, but the little man wears me out. Daily!

FYI...I am no one to plop kids in front of the TV but for learning letters The Leap Frogs Letter Factory is money well spent.

The Leap Frog refrigerator magnets are also a wonderful learning toy. It's both visual and auditory.
Good luck!!
