I've been a busy little bee.
I decided about six months ago
to paint a chalkboard on the end of
our kitchen cabinet.
And this week,
I finally did it.
Hooray for me!!!
Take a look:
Then I painted a space for the
kiddos in our homeschool room.
Here's what I used.
Good stuff.
And after both little projects,
I still have half a can left.
My mind is churning about where
to use the rest of it.
Never mind.
K-Man was just reading over my shoulder
and told me I wasn't allowed
to paint anything else with it.
Heehee.
We'll see about that.

if you have a little to medium round side table that you aren't using, you can do the top of it in chalk board paint. I have one I plan on doing when I get enough motivation to do so!
That is so fun!
We made two large chalkboards for out future teacher...she loves them and after one year of use they are still going strong.
There has got to be a place for you to paint a "honey do" chore chart...
Looks awesome!
Paint a small wood box with it and store the chalk in that :)
Lori...it's So cute!!!! Love it! I made a chalkboard to hang in our kitchen and love it. I wouldn't have had the courage to paint my cabinets--so hooray for you! It looks awesome. Let's see....you could paint one in your laundry room or be really crazy and paint one on your bedroom ceiling with a honey-do list on it. bahahahaha
If you paint magnetic paint (at least 2 thin coats- better to do 3) under the chalkboard paint, you get a magnetic chalk board!
We have them in kitchen, for memory verse, laundry room for grocery list, and school room. I'd do one in the upstairs playroom, but my kids would have chalk dust everywhere.
We got sheet metal (like a/c ductwork) cut to fit an under-the-eaves wall in the playroom, and have magnet stuff all over it.
I love, love, love that!! It looks great and is such a cool idea! I also love Maria's idea about the magnetic paint.....you gals are just too stinkin' creative for this old grandma!!!
