CNY {fun with dumplings}

We had THE MOST amazing fun yesterday at some friends' house,
celebrating Chinese New Year with homemade dumplings!

Lots of pics of all our fun...

My friend Joyce took most the pics.
But I had to grab the camera when I saw her eating ice cream with chopsticks.
This girl is truly one of my most favorite people in the whole wide world.
She loves Jesus with ALL her heart.
She has the most hilarious sense of humor.
And I just adore her so much.

Thank you to all our Chinese friends for an absolutely fabulous time,
filled with fun, food, and precious people.

Looks like a wonderful time!! You are so lucky to have those Chinese friends....Do the older kids revert to speaking Chinese in a group like this, or is it English for everyone?

How do you even make dumplings....???

and the next post you will be sharing the recipe? My little can eat her weight - ok, so she's pretty tiny but whatev - in dumplings!

YUMMMMMMY!!! I heart dumplings. Wish I could have had some with you. However, they are way too labor intensive so I can only eat them at the local Chinese buffet. :)

Always enjoy your posts...however, I am feeling envy looking at your Chinese New Year festivities! You see this Midwesterner has no clue how to make dumplings nor does our local restaurant serve them :-( Yours are perfect and look delicious!

This looks like a lot of fun! I know how to make dumplings, but I've never made the wrappers before. I want to learn! :)
