twitching and sighing {bowling}

Today we went bowling.

The end.

Just kidding.

I haven't decided yet whether it was fun or not.
There is something about teaching four Chinese people how to bowl
that leaves one twitching...and sighing.
And questioning life in general.

But they seemed to enjoy it.

I think.

Actually, I'm not sure.

I need to tell you that none of these pictures were posed
for...nor was Eli's form meant for our entertainment.
Though it did entertain.

My littlest little was an eager learner...

I've never seen a bowling ball travel more slowly down
a lane before today.
I think it even started to roll back at us at one point.

We did what we could to speed things up.

It didn't help much.

And in turn, Lucy helped Isaiah.
Of course she did.

But little Mister Adventure declared,
"Dong Ji do it!"

*Sometimes he calls himself Isaiah, but usually Dong Ji...
and it's always in the third person.
Which is hilarious.
But I am trying to break him of it.
Because it bugs me.

I told you I could do it.

Not sure if/when we will return to this
activity.

Recovery is still in progress.

If you find out a magic formula for the 3rd person thing, let me know...Waid, age 5, home almost a year still does it.
I love you, but don't want to look at your arms, they are buff, and skinnier than my pinky finger--just sickening to this butterball=).

Good gracious girl, are you out wrestling cows or what? I've got some serious work to do before I can go on that cruise with you in order to compete with those arms. Thanks for depressing me. LOL Sorry about the bowling.....who came up with that dumb idea anyway?! ;)

how'd you get by with wearing sassy flip-flops & not official petrie-dish-germ-infested bowling shoes?!

Hey, where were N & B to assist you with this fiasco of an activity??!! They could have really come in handy!!

Love you, girlfriend!!

We love the free bowling & go a couple days / nights a week over the summer. Jami could rival Lucy for that slowest ball though......wow! didn't even know you could roll a ball that slowly.

Hey...Fun is where you find it. It breaks up the boredom......

I feel your pain. Sometimes it is rather agonizing to go bowling, but if we leave the house at 10 it is almost lunch time when we get home. ;-) Oh - free doesn't hurt either.

Hysterical Lori! And seriously....thank you for the irritation admission about the 3rd person issue. Ummmm...yeah, we have a lot of that going on around here. Joey go to bathroom, Joey have water? Joey go to park? Joey hungry. Jo.....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

lol...I kept cracking up at each picture I scrolled through of Eli! His form is unique for sure.

I love your ripped jeans! I had mine on today, too...even wore them to ladies bible study tonight just to give the older women something to talk about...hehe.

Hahaha! Well even if you all didn't have fun it sure was fun for the rest of us!!

I'm still smiling and still laughing!

I feel your pain- I have one home 11 months 8 days 9 hours 23 seconds and still talking in third person... and then another one is barely talking... at all...

Just so ya know- I do walk around the house mumbling "God bless me, God bless me"

Keep up with that sense of humor of yours- even if it's not workin for you- it works for me!!
