gotcha day {Hao Hao} pt. 2

Great pics from my incredible K-man.

Hao Hao
agreeing to be adopted...

Loving on his new little brother!
Those bangs on Isaiah are still a thorn in my side.

No adoption is complete without a trip to the local Wal Mart.
I think it's required.

More fun at the hotel!

Everything went well for K and the boys on this second Gotcha Day.
We skyped with them and HH is not nearly as shy
as we suspected.
He is all smiles and very animated.
Macy had a long conversation with him in Chinese,
explaining a few things and laughing a lot.
She said that HH said that Baba is so cute.
I love that!
And he readily called me Mommy.
Oh my heart.

I gotta run for now.
I hope to post a few skype pics that I took because they're so
darn funny.
I've got a lot going on so I will get to that when I can.

THANK YOU for praying for my amazingly brave husband.
He is sleeping now (I hope!).
Please continue to pray today as you think of him...

This ain't easy!

Talk to you soon.

when you first posted about H-H needing a family, (before you knew he would be coming to yours), my heart was breaking for the sadness in his face as he watched his friend leaving, with him being the last to be adopted. And today, it brings tears to my eyes to see the utter joy in his face at joining a family. You can see his eagerness in the signing of the paperwork, and the happiness being with his little bro - and he hasn't even met everyone else yet!! Congratulations to your family - I'm so happy we got to experience adopting a baby AND an older child thanks to people who encouraged us, like you. ♥♥

So glad those first hours went so well! I would love to know what our kids actually write on those papers, just hours after meeting us. Were they well coached? I know that Joseph didn't seem to have any prompting...I need to ask him

I am simply in tears here. God is SO good to rescue the orphan, my friend. No, it never is easy, is it? Never.

What a sweet boy...I LOVE how he is already loving on his brother. A treasure indeed.

And so the home stretch begins.....hang in there, time will fly.

Rejoicing with you today.
