Hello everyone.
I have had the craziest week so far.
I think say that a lot but this time, I really mean it.
Sigh.
Do you have those days/weeks where you totally over-commit
yourself to things?
Yes, that's what I've done.
I tend to forget that there are only 24 hours in the day.
Now my kids are behind in school.
Not by much but enough to make them and me grumpy about it.
Anyway,
I have a picture I'd desperately love to show you, but negotiations
are still in the process.
You see, Nick decided to shave his head.
What is so significant about that is, if you don't know him,
his hair is extremely curly and tends to be fluffy.
So going from that, to almost nothing, is a big deal around here.
But last year when he reviewed basketball game films he was
mortified by how big his hair got as the game would progress.
So we nipped that in the bud.
And for fun, we first buzzed the top of his head, leaving
a nice Bozo ring around the sides and back.
He fluffed it up.
And I took a picture.
It is so hilarious.
But he sternly told me I was NOT allowed to show my
old-lady blog friends.
Sorry, but that's what he calls you all.
He's very mean.
However, last night I asked him how much I could pay him
to let me post it.
He said $20.
That's too much.
But I'll haggle him down for you, my friends.
More on that later.
Hopefully.
Oh and just to be clear,
we did finished cutting off the rest of it.
He's a studly 15 year old...he wasn't about to walk around
looking clown-ish.
Although that would have been worth well over $20.
Tomorrow is my birthday, just so you know.
Presents aren't necessary, but appreciated.
Heehee.

Happy Birthday sweet lady! Hope you have a great day.
Also, tell Nick that he just couldn't be talking about people like me being an old lady blogger! I am just 51 years young! He must be talking about really old people. Ha, ha!! Can't wait to see his new hair style! :)
So, we allow you to post the photo for the "kind of youngish" ladies in the group?? :)
Hi Lori,
So sorry we didn't get the chance to meet up, we are heading back home this morning. I knew that tomorrow was your birthday, in fact I made a litle something for you and I had it with me just in case we met. Guess I can always mail it. Looking forward to seeing the pic of Nick.
Okay, so #1. I am not old, so you can show me. :D
#2, I am staring to think $20 bucks may not be such a high price to pay to remember this for FOREVER!!! lol.
But being the thrifty person that I am, I am with you. I would try to haggle too.
And What??!!? Your birthday? Didn't you just have a birthday?? How is one suppose to send a present?
OLBF-Wow, I might be hurt by his reference to us, but I will forgive him because he is funny and cute - LOL
Let the negotiations continue!
Bwahahahahahah....Old Ladies?? Hmph. I would be insulted except...well...it's true. Sigh...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY in advance!!! (Do I get points for that?!)
I just noticed on FB this morning that tomorrow is your birthday. I made a mental note to send my HB message to you tomorrow on FB. We'll see if I remember.......ya know, this old lady blog friend of yours may just be too old to remember by tomorrow.......hold on, I need to find my cane and shuffle over to my rocking chair. So I guess I'll move along for now......bwahahahaha!!!!!!
Love you♥
I think you should do a fund-raiser to get the picture posted. Once Nick's friends caught wind of it you could probably make a ton of money. Maybe even offer an autographed copy to the highest bidder!!
Happy Birthday!!
Hope to see this picture soon! Is 21 considered to be old? Or am I just participating in an old lady hobby? lol :)
He's calling ME your old-lady friend?!! LOL Doesn't he know how cool I am? Nick I'm so disappointed. I guess he won't be wearing the teeshirts that say "i know Patty from WW.....". Well I think he should let you put up the photo for your BIRTHDAY at least.....cmon' Nick! Get with it! Happy Birthday my friend!
Um, OLD LADY BLOG FRIENDS? I'm appalled! I bet that's just what he thinks an old lady blogger would say! Well, there, I met his every expectation! BAH!
Hehehe....ok, well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY early girl! LIVE LARGE!
Happy Birthday! Tell Nick to give you the picture as a birthday present.
Happy Birthday! I LOVE reading your blog... your heart for the Lord has been such a blessing to read! Thanks for letting us share in your world!
Happy Birthday Lori!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU... I had a reminder on my phone! Love technology like that. I hope you have a splendid day, my dear friend!
I AM NOT AN OLD LADY, NICK GARDNER!
Aaaand I don't need a picture, I'll be seeing it soon!
