parole

Ummmm, do you all remember back around Christmas when I was without internet for almost two weeks (I get goosebumps just recalling it)?

Well, ummmm, during that difficult time in my life (ok, really?) I used my cell phone to check my emails. Often. I'm talkin' often.

*GASP*

Unbeknownst to me, I didn't have any kind of unlimited web service on my phone.

Blissful ignorance is highly overrated.

*GASP*

And each and every single time that I checked my mail...I was charged.

A fee.

It added up.

Ouch.

*Isn't this the sort of thing teenagers do?*

I'm now on parole.

Perhaps ya'll could have a bake sale to raise funds for me.

I'm just sayin'.

I will not only bake the best ever brownies for your online bake sale, I will loan you my hubby and his amazing "sweet talking the debt collector" ability. You could conference call... lol Sorry dude. that whole deal is harsh.

Oh man...that is just painful. I was without Internet briefly today and I thought I might die. ha. Maybe you could call the company and act really pitiful and see if they will waive the fee. My husband has done that on occasion and they usually waive it. Worth a try?!?!

I'm sorry. I have done that myself. I also would call information all the time and get numbers. My husband gave me a phone book and said "Here use this." LOL

Yikes!! I do know that some companies will waive part of the "damage" the first time it happens. It might be worth checking into.

I could have my kiddos make some brownies for you too:-)

And the worst part is that the kids will neeeever forget this and will remind you of it when it most benefits them!

Don't you hate when that kind of stuff happens.

**About your comment on my blog and 'electric stuff happening under my sheets..." :))) There is nothing spicy going on in my sheets...just don't like the electric shocks that come with flannel due to DRY WINTER WEATHER!! :))

That is too funny and what in the world did I miss at Karin's blog and the electrical stuff going on under her sheets!? :)))

Oh, and I don't do much baking, but I'd be glad to help sell the goods for your fundraiser. This happened to me once as well then The Prez wised up and put me on the unlimited plan …
