dare to trust

Well, I'm up early as I should be with all
I've got to do.
I say that a lot don't I?

Wondering what to blog about before
I dig into my list...
and trying to decide how early is
too early to start running the vacuum.

Also trying to figure out what I should wear
on the plane.
Much like maternity clothes at month 9,
by the end of the l o n g flight, I'll
want to burn whatever I decide on.

But as my focus started out on little 'ol me
this morning,
I read the most amazing blog post by
my friend Aedye.

Please take the time to jump over
to her blog, would you?
She writes beautifully and their "Gotcha Day"
story (and all that led up to it) just
one year ago,

is AMAZING.
It will teach you quickly how to cast
your adoption cares on Him and dare to
TRUST.

lized yesterday that your family day with Shu Li is the day AFTER my third family day with Jami. I really enjoyed China in Sept...much better than the snow & ice (which is hard for a Floridian) of Feb.

I can not wait to follow your journey.....

Hope you make it through the list today, I know you must be about to burst! I agree on the long flight clothes, ugh! After all that, you really don't want to see them again!:)
Hope in it all, you have some great moments with your family today!
Blessings,
Gayly

Can you believe you are leaving in less than 24 hours??? Oh my gosh, I cannot wait to follow your journey and to see you united with Shu Li.

I read Adeye's post early this morning and it brought tears to my eyes because her story is definitely a testament of what He can do with a little faith. Her family is such an inspiration.

Hugs,
Mandi

LOVE that story--amazing. I think it's the most touching adoption story I have ever read.

About the fears the enemy is sending your way...ugh(been there, done that), don't let him steal your joy.

ACK! You're leaving in less than 24 hours!!!!!!!!!

Prayers for you...calm that pounding, heart and focus on the next task. God will carry you through, oh and the kids WILL be fine.
Our first trip, we left the kids home w/ my parents, woke them up to say good-bye and our then 5 y.o. says "you're going TODAY?!" as if we had never discussed this AT ALL.
About broke my heart, but they were OK.

My goodness! I can't believe you are leaving so soon for China. After waiting and waiting, does it almost seem surreal? I can't wait to hear all about your trip and continue to pray for your kiddos and your mom - Their party starts in the morning, right?

At the same time, I think how you and Shu Li are so blessed... You are an amazing family that God has handpicked just for each other!

Have an amazing trip!

Oh my goodness---I am so touched! You are SUCH an amazing woman of a Mighty God. Really!

Oh wow, dear friend--I am sooooo excited for you. I KNOW exactly how you are feeling right now--so many mixed, crazy emotions. Know that you are going with MANY prayers. DO NOT allow the enemy to steal your joy! Oh how he loves to do that. I have such a heart of expectation and anticipation for you as you head over the waters to bring your new daughter home. It is going to be GOOD in every way--just you wait and see. The Lord has already gone before you, He has absolutely prepared her little heart or this time. It is going to be so amazing for all of us to witness...God is action!
Travel safely and make the most of every day--you know all too well how quickly it passes.
Sending you all my love.
Adeye
