Our consulate appointment was confirmed last night!!
So now we are just waiting to find out (later today)
exactly how much time we will need to spend in Luoyang, then
we can book our flights.
Now I need to start cranking out the lists of "to do's"
and work on crossing things off!
And to answer some of you who asked...
YES, I will be bringing my laptop and will blog
DAILY...or more!
But since blogger has been blocked in the past in Ch*na,
I will either email my posts to my blog
and hope for the best (I'm a wee bit picky on how things
look so not being able to see the posts for myself will
bring a twinge of discomfort). And/OR I will post
to my JTM journal.
Well, that's all I have for right now.
Sorry there's no exciting pics or anything.
Oh, and thank you SO MUCH for all your extremely
kind words....I gotta tell you,
I was glued to my computer last night and kept
"refreshing" as I would see new comments pouring in each time!
You guys rock!

Congratulations on your TA! I also wanted to let you know that we had no problem with blogger when in China this summer. We downloaded hotspot so that we could get to it (we did get a couple interesting popups....).
I can't wait to follow your story when you get there!
Yippee Jesus!! So very happy for all of you! And what a perfect time of the year to be in Ch*na!!
I remember so well the huge list on the fridge in our little log home as we prepared to go to Ch*na for our miracle Isaiah....it was so exciting!
Praying for all the pieces to come together...
Wow...that was super fast... It took us almost a week to get a confirmed CA!! Soon and very soon you will have your sweet girl with you!!

Yea Lori! Such an exciting time! Praying for your family. Praying that the Lord will begin to prepare Shu Li's heart for her new family.
Also, I didn't have any problems getting on blogger the entire time I was in China so maybe you will not either.
Wow-- that was so fast, how cool! We had to wait 5 days for our CA and I thought I was going to lose my mind.
I want to come help you pack! Oh wait, we don't live in the same place, and then there's the little matter of us not really actually knowing each other ;) But just know I will be helping in spirit!
Praise God!!! How wonderful to know when you are getting your sweet sweet girl!! Praying you get great prices on your tickets. I can't wait to see you with your new daughter!!
Congrats on TA!! Can you tell me how long it was from your LOA to TA?
Thanks
