Well, K-man and the boys arrived safely in Chicago, early.
Got through immigration and customs without a hitch.
Then found out that their flight home is delayed.
Sigh.
K is losing his mind.
Oh, I forgot to mention that little Isaiah-Tooty-Fruit didn't sleep
at all on the 14 hour flight home.
That explains K's mind going....going, gone.
Please pray that this last flight WILL leave when they say it's supposed to (or earlier)!!
Which will put them at our airport at 8:15 tonight (Saturday).
I'm so ready for our family to be together.
Thanks for praying.
Oh and one last thing.
My fellas went to dinner (lunch...breakfast?) at the airport
and K ordered chips & salsa.
Hao Hao didn't like the salsa.
Gasp!
This too needs dedicated prayer.
Our family eats salsa at practically every meal.
Not even joking.
Even Macy winced when I told her HH didn't like it.
How will he survive here?
He must learn to love it.
He must.

I am so glad you updated! You know how we must know what is going on! I kept checking all day to see what you had heard.
Praying for a safe and restful flight home to you all.
Hugs,

How exciting!! I know you are about to jump out of your skin with anticipation!!! Praying that their flight is on time and they arrive safe. And.....guess you better add a little "soy" sauce to the salsa for awhile for one said Asian salsa rebel!!! ~wink~

They are SOOOO close! Yippeee!!!
Will be praying!
Yeppers, he'll need to learn to love/tolerate salsa!
We totally eat it all the time too! :)
So sorry to have missed a few posts. The salsa thing...definitely a matter for prayer. :) POOR K-man!!! No one should have to deal with a small child for 14 hours on a flight. uuugggghhhhhhhh.....
Brendan...would love to have heard his presentation. Very interesting subject material.
Can't wait to see your sweet family all back together again!
I just got home from seeing my baby´s baby and I had to pop in here to see if your babies were in your arm yet...
So I will pray. Your hubby needs some kind of Dad of the Year prize!! Bless his heart.
And as far as salsa...well, he would almst have to starve if he came to my house. It is a staple here too.
I'm going nutty thinking about you getting your guys home!!! I hope you are on the way to the airport right NOW and it won't be long. HH will learn to love salsa....no worries....Caleb loves salsa--will put it on everything if we let him! HH has just got to learn to love it! Praying!
it's 8:45pm now for me, so i'm really hoping that you have been reunited with K and have hugged on your boys and then graciously explained how important salsa is in your family! :) prayin' for ya girl!
Give him two weeks and he'll be begging for salsa! :)
Soooooooooooo excited for your sweet family. What a LONG few weeks it has been for all of you.
Cannot wait to see the HOME pics :)
I looked at my clock when I read his flight was coming in at 8:15 and it was 8:15....how cool is that!
No worries about the salsa, neither Tate or Elliott liked salsa but now they love it....so there is hope LOL.
I can't wait to see you with your sweet boys!
Kim
You are too funny. Really though, who else prays about salsa Lori?!
Ya'll should be TOGETHER now!! So excited for your family! Oh the wonders God has done!! Hooray!
Oh, I'm so glad to see an update, as I've checked off and on today for news from the travelers. 14 hour flight and no sleep will surely mean sleeping tonight, right?!?
I can't imagine the joy at the airport tonight for your family. Joy unspeakable, right? WooHoo for God's grace in bringing you together! And yes, I can't wait for pictures.
Oh praying you all are together by now! And for the salsa. That is a concern for sure. ;)
Oh my...We had a LOOOOONG delay on our way back home from our trip too. It was horrible, but we were so thankful we were almost there. By now, you must be all together! CAN'T WAIT to hear about the homecoming celebration!!!
Have you hugged your boys yet????????????
I can't wait to see you ALL together under one roof. Prayers and hugs...especially to your hubby.
We were praying for you all today. They must be home by now! You must be elated! I hope all went well and everyone settles in. Three cheers for your awesome hubby - what a great guy! Hoping that all your treasures will transition well into the new normal.
All the best,
Nicole A., now in LA
If I'm figuring out the time difference correctly they should be home by now - fingers crossed!
Those long flights and the jetlag are a bear but soon enough it will all be behind them.
Now go hug those boys of yours!
