I got a chance to briefly skype with Kman this evening.
Our connection was awful but we did
have a few minutes to enjoy each other's company.
Sweet.
He and the boys had just gotten up for the day and
he said that Isaiah got up and started marching around the room saying,
"Ding dong, ding dong, ding dong"!!
He was trying to wake up Hao Hao.
It worked.
And Hao Hao was all smiles.
So adorable, yes?!!
Then a few hours later K texted me to say they were at the
airport to catch their flight to GZ.
He told me he had just looked at his little "countdown" thingy on his
computer and it indicated that his trip was only half over.
Half over??
Half over.
So I did the only thing I could do.
I moved my coffee maker to my nightstand.

Oh, yes I did.
And as a matter of fact, yes...that is an unsightly stack
of reading materials.
And yes, that is a lovely encouraging card from a dear priend (which means, a praying friend).
And yes, if you look hard enough, that is
1/4 of a chocolate chip cookie that I will finish with my coffee
in the morning.
I'm in survival mode, as you can see.
Counting it pure joy, my friends...pure joy.

Only half over? Seems like he should be nearly over!!! Oh you poor thing I think you need a whole box of cookies there next to the coffee maker. Soon soon soon.......he'll be home soon.....

Next post the coffeemaker will have been moved INTO the bed with you! (-:
Praying for your amazingly strong DH! Tell me that!
I'll start to be concerned when I see coffee in a bag attached to an IV pole next to your bed... :)
Wow! Half over? That was fast! Glad they're doing well! :) Lovin' the night stand!! Seriously! ;)

I read your blog all of the time and have been checking in like a stalker since your "Kman" has been in China. I had to laugh out loud when I saw the coffee maker had migrated to your night stand. Sorry, it is just too funny. :D I am saying prayers that your three boys continue to do well and that this last half of the trip flies by for you all! :)

Half FULL, sister. Your glass is HALF FULL! Just think, in a few short days, your glass (and life) will be SO FULL. SO incredibly full!
So, consider this time left a time to rejuvenate! Trust me. I have looked into the eyes of a picture of your newest son, Jack. YOU WILL NEED THE ENERGY. Hahaha.
Survival is good, my dear! Glad you found room on the nightstand for the coffee maker :) And tomorrow Kelly is a day past halfway!!!!!
Praying with ya’ll!!!
Hang in there. Praying for you all. I know God is going to sustain all of you through this time. You have a great family. Been a reader of your blog a long time. You all are a blessing. :)
