No new pics from Kel this evening.
He is a tad...how shall we say...
ready to come home.
Sigh.
As I type this they are at some sort of museum.
Which of course is exactly what
every 12 and 4 year old boy...
and 45 year old man, want to do.
Sigh.
And when we skyped tonight,
within three minutes of chatting...Isaiah
broke the remote control.
Broke.It.
And hotel security called...then paid a visit
because apparently Little Mister Busy Man had pushed
the "panic" button on the wall.
Try explaining to a semi-English-fluent security guard
(and his padres)
why you (a white man) and your two Chinese boys...
really don't have an emergency.
But other than that,
things are great with them.
Don't you worry...I am clearing out everything in my house
that is anywhere within reach of a chubby-fisted Chinese boy.
And here at home the latest is:
1. Brenden is in full-stress mode over his senior project.
He has 20 pages written and is nowhere near done.
**I have never been more thankful to be a 42 year old housewife**
2. Nick is in his annual golf-frame-of-mind.
Needing a new driver because...well, he just *needs* one.
3. Macy is just about finished with school stuff and
is so excited about her new brothers to come home.
4. Lucy is also WAY ready for her new brothers,
and is BEYOND ready for her daddy to be home.
And speaking of Lucy....
here are some pics.
Do take notice of all the cows in the background watching her.

I hope I'm not boring you with my numerous posts every day.
But you know...what else do I have to do?
Well, besides...
*Clean out closets*
*Paint*
*Organize laundry room*
*vacuum the entire compound*
*mop floors*
*Create a golf course lawn*
*Scoop muck out of chicken house*
*Prepare meals to freeze*
*Figure out how to lower gas prices*
*Stock up on groceries for the next six months so
I don't have to leave the house...ever*
Those sorts of things.
that's all.

You forgot "working on our videos" in your list of things to do. Tsk tsk.....slacking already. LOL! And the remote control....and the panic button...LOL...well at least there IS a preschooler in the room to blame. We had no one we could blame the broken shower curtain on...yeah-um the shower curtain that opens right into the bedroom....stuck in the "up" position. Nice. Luckily it was the day before we left! Glad Kelly is having fun with the staff their too!
The pictures of Lucy riding her bike with the cows looking on are so funny. Wonder what they are thinking??
Your update was funny this morning. I can just picture your husband trying to explain that there really wasn't an emergency to security people in a communist country. You may have more "interesting" times when your little boy comes home. He sounds "busy", but he is oh so cute!!
Hugs,
janet and gang
Another Midwestern bloggy mommy here....your updates are awesome! What beautiful children you are about to bring home. His brother is in my prayers and God's plan for his life.
I hope the next couple of days go quickly. I would be functioning and that is about it, if DH were gone for such a long period:-)
LOL, stalker cows or what!?!
O.k. new post thought ~ What are you gonna do for your DH for father's day this year! only a month or so away! What a man!
1. Panic button is HYSTERICAL...because I wasn't there.
2. He does need a new driver. Because well, I think I'm going to have to shell out a fortune for cheerleading gear with Miss Hayleigh, so I think it's only fair to share that pain in the wallet. :)
3. You mentioned organizing your laundry room. Yeah right. I KNOW you.
4. The cows watching Lucy is also hysterical. ALMOST as hysterical as the panic button, but not quite.
5. Did anyone warn the cows that little man will be home SOON? Someone should.
6. Yeah, could you work on lowering gas prices? Said wallet is crying.
Love, love, love your many posts. Don't stop.
The staring cows crack me up!! That's just too funny!
BTW, my family arrived in China a few hours ago. Two more days till I have a new nephew!
Ever been cow tippin' before? You know...pretty maidens all in a row? I see your list is missing that one.
Sorry, just watched "Tommy Boy" recently and that was the first thing that popped in my head when I saw your pics! :)
Bahahaha those cows....are kind of creepy lol. I am so excited for you guys!! I can't wait to meet everyone when I get there this summer :) Praying for you guys!
Oh, goodness! Why would your lovely husband want to come back home? He is having so much FUN! ; ) Love the pics, especially of the cows. : )
"Panic Button " ha ha , friends of ours adopted from eastern europe , while at the american embassy , the then 4 year old pulled the fire alarm and emptied the entire embassy ! ! ! Judy
LOL. Shouldn´t the phrase´he is 4´ be enough to explain any unexplainable emergency? duh.
It is a good day, my friend!! Praying for all the family as they have their joys, stresses, victories and hopes.
Are those your cows? Because if they are, my jealousy levels have just jump a bit. If not, ...well they have still jumped because they may as well be being that close!! And yes, I will confess later.
Sounds like you are doing pretty well and keeping busy! I love reading your comments and seeing pics of those darling boys, who will be home SOON!
All the best,
Nicole A., now in LA
I love how the cows are watching, does she talk to them? Hey, there's some freezer meals for ya!
I am absolutely loving these multi-post days!! I check several times a day to see what's new. And I love ALL the pictures! The boys in the pool....adorable!! Miss Lucy Bug on her bike....so sweet! By the way, Miss LB is looking really tall to me. Has she sprouted a few inches lately?
Yes, indeed, what will K's father's day gift be this year? I think he should win a "Greatest Father of the Year" Award.....just sayin'
Praying for all of you!
Snicker....I'm trying to stifle giggles as I imagine your little man getting into everything, pushing buttons, and generally making a pest of himself. :) Lucy will have her hands full. hehe
