very random questions {very}

I have a couple of questions for you:

(Just for fun)

1. If you could only have one,
which would you choose,
indoor plumbing or electricity?

2. What is your preference,
grilled chicken or grilled steak?

3. Do you prefer to be the
driver or the passenger?

Just some very off-the-wall, random
questions that I thought up.

Don't worry,
I'm not secretly doing scientific
experiments and plan to turn you into
lab rats.

...Or am I?

  14. Tough questions.

If by plumbing you are just talking about toilet stuff, then electricity. If it is all indoor water, then probably plumbing.

    Steak, definitely.

Passenger just because I am a single mom and am always the driver, BUT it would drive me nuts to never get to drive. I want to trade off. :)

  15. indoor plumbing...i can live with my hair in a ponytail or cooking on a grill, but having to use a stinky outhouse...yuck.

grilled chicken...because you can eat it so many ways such as a sandwich or salad.

passenger...i want to see the view not focus on the asphalt.

  20. Ok... here are my answers...
    Plumbing- for sure!

We spent some time in the Amazon Jungle once on a mission trip, I was fine without electricity but peeing in a chamber pot under the bed and having to carry it out in the morning great distressed me! Oh course, not as much as the Jaguar that was roaming around out side... I used the chamber pot!

STEAK for sure... we live in ranch country and homegrown beef is the best!!!!

Driver... though my husband likes to drive too so I usually let him so I can keep track of the kids in the back:)

Hope you are having a great weekend!

  21. Plumbing, chicken, and I really don't care who drives. Well, passenger, I guess, because I like to veg out and look at stuff and sleep if I want to.

I can't imagine anyone picking electricity over plumbing. Seriously...Outhouses in the middle of the night?? And when you are sick, you really need a bathroom! And running hot and cold water...necessity!!! I need my hot showers! I am soooooooo thankful for my indoor plumbing. It makes me happy just thinking about it. Thanks for making my day! : )

  22. If I promise not to eat chicken or steak and if I decide to walk everywhere can I have plumbing AND electricity? Please!?

  23. Plumbing, for sure.

Like Gayly, we have done without both, and I'm telling you, using the beach for the toilet made me incredibly thankful for indoor plumbing! You have to throw a rock into the water to scare away the crocodiles before you do your "business".

    Steak

  25. I get hives at the mere thought of an outhouse.

Steak, duh, I live in Texas.

Driver, like all self respecting control freaks.

Perhaps your next post should be on the popularity of quizzes for adults. I haven't commented on a blog in months and yet I couldn't pass this up :)

  26. oh the anguish of having to choose electricty OR plumbing but at the end of the day I'm gonna have to say electrcity! (and I give my child daily enemas so I know plumbinb is IMPORTANT) but I hate to be hot and we live in the South and it gets hawt and humid and i hate to be cold too and I like lights too and hello..fridge and freezer! and microwave and oven. But mostly the fridge! Of course as a family of soon to be 7- the no plumbing thing would get old FAST. Oh no. Maybe I chose wrongly! Why did you do this to me?!?!? Chicken and passenger..except for in China and then NEITHER!
