a day in the life of me

Remember that remote control helicopter Eli got for
his birthday?

Well, there was a freak accident.

He flew it straight into Lucy's head and it
got so twisted up in her hair (that hadn't been combed for the day yet...
adding to the mess) that it took me nearly 10 minutes
to get the darn thing out.

Just another day in the life of me.
And my 268 children.

Or something like that.

  2. Only a truly wonderful bloggy mama would take the time to snap a photo before trying to take the helicopter out of her daughter's hair!

  4. I'm sorry, but I laughed when I saw the photo! Who'd a thunk it would end up there?!!

  5. Well, I guess it was bound to happen some time. ;) We've had a similar accident. You'll laugh about it in a couple of weeks. ;) Hang in there girl!

  7. When I was in elementary school my best friend was a girl who had gloriously thick long hair. One day we were playing with a remote-control car and I had the bright idea to "drive" it up her back. It got tangled so badly in all that beautiful hair that her mother had to cut it out. Gah! The guilt still hits me when I think of it, watching her mom cut out that chunk of hair!

  8. Who would have thought?!
I better warn the girls to be careful
when they play with the one their
dad bought. Also watch out for
ZhuZhu pets. My niece was laying
on the floor and her little sis was
playing with hers and the thing got
caught in her long beautiful hair and
was a pain to get out. :/
