The party went well. The lasagna was amazing. But let me just give you a bit of advice...don't have a co-ed teenager party on the night that you spring forward. I had to peel myself out of bed this morning. Peel. I wanted to linger in my zzzz's but knew that missing church because I'm sleepy is a sorry excuse. But I am considering wearing my robe and slippers to service...honestly, no one who knows me will be a bit surprised.
At the moment I'm nursing my gigantic cup of coffee, feeling its effects (affects? I really don't know. But that reminds me...I've got a grammar post brewing in my brain. After reading blog after blog, some of us need to go back to 5th grade). Ok, I digress. I better go get ready for church....fuzzy hot pink robe or chic baby blue?

i don't think you'll be the only wearing a robe to church. i completely forgot about springing forward and freaked out when i heard jax moving around, looked at the clock and saw that it was 9am!
ReplyDelete(and apologize in advance for the poor grammar. i know i make mistakes. but i am willing to accept a grammar refresher course. and hopefully it will help out the many that need it more than i.)

ReplyDeleteAnd as for the grammar, um, I'm a fifth grade grammar teacher (Lang. Arts, really) but you CANNOT grade my blogs! I am OFF duty! HA!
Seriouly, I could print a couple of my posts and use them as examples of what NOT to do. Like, overuse,,,,,, and ..... like I always do!
As a former English, I can't wait to see your grammar lesson. lol

I had a similar problem. I visited with old friends from college last night that I haven't seen in years! You know us girls can talk! So I crawled into bed much too late, but had the distinct blessing of coming down with a bad cold. I mean that literally! I slept for hours today and enjoyed good time with the Lord in the peace and quiet! And I didn't go to church, but I am still wearing my jammies and robe at 5:40 in the afternoon. :) The pink one.
