fresh wind, fresh fire {a MUST read}

I sure hope your weekend was wonderful, friends!

We had over 15 people come forward to receive Jesus
at church!

Oh my word,
it just makes my heart burst with excitement to see
so many lives changed by our Savior, week after week.

God is AT WORK.

Which brings me to my latest read.

My mother-in-law passed this book onto me.

Wowie, is all I can say.
It is an amazing book about the power of prayer.

Fresh Wind Fresh Fire
"What Happens When The Spirit
Invades the Hearts of His People."

I'm not even finished reading it
but decided that I needed to tell you about
it right away.

AND...

I am giving away a copy!

Leave a comment that you'd like a chance
to win and I'll throw your name in the hat.

And since there can only be one winner,
I highly recommend that the rest
of you go buy yourself a copy.

And if you've already read it, let me know what you think.

I'm going to wait until the end of the week
to do the drawing, giving everyone plenty of time
to enter.

  5. Well, I would LOVE a book...especially since I KNOW Dean Merrill (and his wife Grace, and their kids!) I used to attend church with them here in CT! Haven't seen that name in a "coon's age"...and don't ask me how long that IS...but an educated guess is wild: 7 years; captive: 10 years. HA!

  17. Oh Lori - I have been "stalking" you for a while and never have left a comment. You are truly and inspiration to me and I admire you for following God's call in your life! I have been called to go on a mission trip to Nicaragua in May and way outside my comfort zone. Thanks for being the example I need to following God's calling. Please enter me into your drawing. 21. I LOVE Jim Cymbala! He has another one called "Fresh Faith" that is really good, too. He's an AWESOME Bible study called "When God's People Pray". It's FABULOUS!!!! And have you read "Walking with God" By John Eldredge or his "Waking the Dead"? Seriously. They will CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!! They are amazing. So, is his "Captivating". Life Changing (although my mom though "Waking the Dead" was too deep for her...she never finished it).
