neked day {i declare}

I declare today,

*Neked Day*

and everyday thereafter until I can get this dang
pile of laundry down to a reasonable
height.

Oh, but this only applies to the children.

Good heavens it would take me months (who am I kidding, years)
to get in shape for such a day.

So...

you in?

  1. Well when you have a boatload of kids, you will never get ahead, and you are adding two more to the mix? Sorry, Lori, I don't think you will ever get that load down.

  2. Yes! My children will be neked along with yours!! Especially Johnny!!

Shut the laundry room door and enjoy a cup of coffee!!
It'll still be there tomorrow! and the next day and the next and ... even if we wash it!

  3. I'm definitely in! haha I have piles that look like that in every bedroom. UGH! Seriously....how can their dirty clothes reproduce so fast? Come on summer!! No socks to worry about!!!

  4. We have multiple piles like that:-) Good thing my sweet dd takes care of the laundry now. It's a never ending battle. Karin, as far as the socks go...we have resorted to paying the kids to match them up:-)All other chores are just 'cuz we're family. The socks.....not so (9 people times 2 feet times 7 days/wk = too many socks)!!

  6. My laundry room looks exactly like yours Lori! My kids will join in the nakey day with yours. Of course Katie is always running around half dressed and some how her laundry accounts for almost half the pile. Still trying to figure that one out.

I was actually all caught up with it at Christmas time. My brother was over and went in there for something and commented "Wow Lace you have tile on your laundry room floor!? I thought it was carpeted with laundry." Gotta love little brothers:) They never grow up!

I just tell people that my dryer threw up all over the floor. :)

  9. I'm in too!!! I only have 3 right now and I can't keep up. ;) I'm loving Jean's idea...shut the door, have some coffee, it'll be there tomorrow....or the next day, or even the next. ;)

  11. Gonna have to pass, because if I started that around here, I'd never get my almost-4-year-old boy back in clothes again! I finally caught up on laundry last weekend after being behind about six weeks.

  12. Every day I do laundry, and every night it multiplies! What's up with that??

Philip would love neked (naked)day because anytime he gets nakup (as he calls it), he flies down the hall and dances until I call him back to get dressed or bath! Too funny! He will have to stop that when his sister comes home though!

I am so happy to see this! I have the SELF SAME pile!!!!

Now I feel maybe I am not such a failure.

And kids only is right!!!! HA! IT would take me YEARS.

And that baby of yours...OH MY. Can you almost feel him in your arms?? Mine are starting to ache. :::sigh:::
