what's for dinner?

Well, if you must know...
we didn't do a lick of school yesterday.

A good mom knows how to pick her battles.

But today, we're back at it.
Waaaaahh.

Sorry I don't have any fun pics for you.
I'm so boring that way.

We really didn't do anything exciting yesterday worthy of photos.
LAZY.
WONDERFUL.

Well, I gotta go now.

Sorry so short.
And uninteresting.

Oh, but just to ensure that someone leaves a comment or two...
what are you fixing for dinner tonight?

I need some fresh ideas.

  1. Baked potatoes topped with leftover turkey chili from last night. Oh yea, real fancy stuff here!

  2. I was thinking arroz con pollo. My 12 year old is not a fan. At all. I keep thinking those irish genes have too hard a hold on him. :P

We have more snow today. My son keeps thinking he takes the bus, and so needs a snow day. I told him the snow does not prevent him from coming down the stairs.

    Oh well.

  3. Tacos made with ground chicken, instead of ground beef!

Tried something different with Shake n' Bake last night though that was REALLY good... Did Shake n' Bake on pork chops, then poured lemon juice over them and put more Shake n' Bake on top.

    Have a great day!

  7. I love my slow cooker....so today it is slow cook roast that will be cooking while we drive up to Denver to tow our Bronco home....
I love to just salt, pepper and garlic it some (the roast, not the Bronco :)), put it in the slow cooker and poor some yummy Balsamic Vinegar over it all, with a little water in the bottom....yum.

  10. We are snowed in and Jeff is out of town, so it's going to be something really gourmet (Not). PB&J? Mac & Cheese? Frozen pizza? Pancakes?

Oh...I guess I'm no help to you, am I?

I sent an e-mail to you at the address listed here on the blog. It is about homeschooling. I just wanted to make sure I had the correct address.
