how big is 41?

Be totally honest with me....
is 41 a really big number?

I mean, compared to the national deficit,
it's a mere vapor of a number.

Compared to China's population...
I mean, come on...41 is nothing, right?

Sigh.

But I suppose,
when you look at the average life-expectancy...
41 is....(gulp) kinda big.

At least half-way big.

Ok, maybe old is a better word.

No, nevermind...I'll have none of that.

41 is NOT old....

because today,
I turn 41.

HaPpY BiRtHdAy to ME!

  21. Getting older sure beats the alternative!

And please tell me 41 isn't actually old, because I can't bear the thought of being OLD when I drop my FIRST kid off at Brownies! :) Please don't tell me that people will be saying, "oh look, Lily's grandma brought her!"

If I had a decent voice I would sing to you, so my present to you is that I won't sing:-)

  30. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You are actually as young as you feel!! In which case you can't possibly have teenagers!! If you intend to live to be 101 like I do you have 60 years to go! That's still ALOT!!!

  31. Can't be old...cause I'm not old just older than you....and don't ask that kid of yours :^)
    Enjoy your day!

  32. Lori Happy Birthday! Forty-one is not old. If 41 is old then 52 is over the hill and I'm not over the hill. I have a 3 year old to raise. The only time I feel old is when I realize my oldest is 32.
What a blessing to be so young with teenagers. Enjoy your young birthday!

I am much older than you.
    Have a wonderful blessed day!

  44. Ummm, 41 is so NOT OLD! If so, when I turn 45 in a month I would be old, and, in your words, "I'll have none of that!" Got way too many reasons to stay young! Happy Birthday, sweet friend!
