On Tuesday, Brenden and Nick had their first golf
tournament of the 2010 season.

And as you can see, they were tickled for me to be
taking their pics at early o'clock in the morning.

But Nick knew that if he didn't pause for a photo....

I'd follow him all the way out to the car....



Like I did to Brenden.

Nick got 3rd place (individually) out of about 30 guys!
And their team took first place!!

more Easter pics...

Being the youngest of our four children,
easily explains why we totally forgot that Lucy
was supposed to bring an EASTER basket to church
for the candy hunt.

And so the workers in children's church scurried around to find something
for Lucy to gather her goodies in.

Yes,
that would be a Halloween pumpkin.
Well of course it is.
Nothing short of the very best (and timeliness) for my baby girl.

It was super windy!
And no, that wouldn't be trash scattered about in the background...
that's the candy...for the kids to hunt.
Finding treasures at our church is nothing but pure joy
and almost zero effort.

How stinkin' cute is our little friend Micaiah, who appears to be
looking very intently at nothing.

Brenden couldn't help but help.

scooter news flash

Last Saturday as I was out shopping by *myself*
my hubby texted me and said,
"Macy is riding a scooter!"

Seriously, it was like a news flash.
And indeed it was!

It's serious business, folks.

And of course Lucy had to get into the picture.
As always.
Lucy isn't being Lucy if she doesn't worm her
way into the center of attention.
She's going to be a delightful teenager.
Delightful.
I keep telling my big kids that she will babysit
their kids and teach them all she knows.
It'll be so sweet.

Anyway,
it was good to see Macy having some kid-like fun!

Last evening Lucy was sitting on the potty,
*since she's four, she really doesn't mind me telling you that*
when she was finished,
she yelled for Daddy to come wipe her.
Well,
I just automatically jumped up from
the couch and went to take care of her.

Upon my arrival she said,
"No, I want Daddy to wipe me!"

To which I said,
"Lucy, I can do it...Daddy is tired."

And she, in all seriousness, said,
"Why is Daddy so tired? Oh, I know...he's tired from sitting
in his big chair."

Bahahahaha.

a very special Easter

We had THE most delightful Easter!

Macy's very first Easter.
And she seemed to love it!
